It was already evening when the ravenette entered the passcode unlocking the door to his small apartment still pissed at the things happened earlier with him."Am home!" He called out placing the file on the small table in the living room. Removing his tie, the male opened the first two buttons of his white shirt and ran a hand in his already messy hairs.
Plopping down onto the couch, Jungkook sighed defeatedly to calm his agitated self.
Another day of finding a job in Seoul was getting on the males nerves. He wanted to give a better life to his only family and he was failing miserably. The male looked at his small 2 BHK apartment weakly.
Jungkook had just shifted to Seoul two weeks ago and the apartment he was living in was not that good. The place looked shabby and overdone. Things were placed haphazardly in each corner. The creativity on the pale walls showed the creativity of the kid who must be staying there before them but it was the best he could afford at the time.
"Hey... You home?" A feminine voice grabbed his attention. The ravenette looked at the figure that emerged out of the small kitchen with a glass in her hands. She was beautiful. With her black hairs that reached her shoulders parted from Middle and a bright smile decorating her lips, her cheerfulness took away half of the ravenette's tiredness.
The ravenette couldn't stop himself from smiling watching the other beaming at him so excitedly.
"I missed you." The lady offered the glass to Jungkook which the ravenette took from her readily before holding her hand and pulling her to his lap.
"I wish I could say the same." The ravenette said placing the glass onto the table before hugging her and closing his eyes. "... This city is draining me."
The woman smiled sweetly ruffling the other's hairs. " It will be fine, baby. Just a little more."
Jungkook hummed still hugging the other. In all this hopelessness surrounding him, his wife was his only comfort. The ravenette didn't know what he would have done if she wasn't there to hold him in such times.
"How was your day?" The lady asked smiling at the ravenette as she still ruffled the other's hairs.
"It was worst." Jungkook pulled away and shook his head disappointed. The woman picked up the glass of water from the table and offered his husband who took it.
"Interview didn't go well? " She questioned getting up from Jungkook's lap and sitting on the couch beside him as the ravenette drank water.
Jungkook looked at the beautiful woman sitting in front of him.
Lee So-Hee, the love of Jungkook's life and his wife for almost two years.
He shook his head holding the other's hand. "Interview went well but... I don't think am getting that job."
The disappointment in his voice made So Hee watch him for a few moments while the ravenette sighed scratching his neck.
She knew how desperate Jungkook was for a job. He wasn't saying much but his burdening insecurities and increasing doubts were taking a toll over his health. Jungkook had lost pounds in just two weeks.
So Hee smiled squeezing the other's hand. "Its okay... Don't be so negative." She spoke softly. The ravenette shook his head and opened his mouth to say something but his wife didn't let him.
"Stop overthinking, Kookie....maybe something better is waiting for you and it's not just the time yet." His wife consoled him still holding the other's hand.
The ravenette glanced towards their hands. Playing with So Hee's soft fingers, he nodded clicking his tongue.
He shouldn't overthink.
It was doing nothing more than worrying So Hee.
He smiled looking up at his wife. "How was your day?" He asked to change the topic.
The woman couldn't stop herself from smiling. "Pretty good....." Once she began, she didn't stop.
So Hee told him everything she did the whole day. The ravenette watched her with soft eyes. The way she moved her hands, the way those brown eyes shone brightly as she talked and the way her lips curled into a smile, it made the man forget everything.
Jungkook had long forgotten the incident that happened with him earlier when he was returning from his interview as he listened to his wife telling him about all the cute kids back at the primary school where she taught.
The male looked at the girl sitting in front of him talking animatedly as she mimicked the kids from her class with all the love he had for her in his heart.
"I love you." He confessed out of the blue. His wife stopped talking and watched the other with a raised eyebrow.
Jungkook smiled and cupped the other's face. The lady immediately leaned into the touch and closed her eyes.
The very next moment, Jungkook was kissing her.
He forgot his all the worries as soon as his lips met the other's soft ones. They both kissed each other moving their lips slowly and tenderly.
Jungkook's one hand moved towards the petite waist of the woman as the other still cupped her face while the woman's hands found themselves entangled in the silky raven hairs of his husband. She tugged at her husband's hair when Jungkook bite on her lower lip before pulling back.
He looked at his wife who refused to look at Jungkook. The ravenette chuckled internally at the other's flustered state.
Its been two years to their marriage and one and a half years of them dating but still, So-Hee becomes shy after sharing an intimate moment with the ravenette and Jungkook absolutely love that habit of hers.
The ravenette leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on So Hee's forehead making her look at him from under the curtain of her long eyelashes.
"I love you!" Jungkook confessed his love for the beautiful girl for the millionth time giving butterflies to the short haired woman.
"I know." She replied controlling a giggle. Jungkook looked at the other with a raised eyebrow when he didn't get the answer he wanted to hear.
So Hee looked at the ravenette. She knew what Jungkook wanted to hear but now it was her turn to tease her hubby.
"That's not what we say when someone confess their love to us."
"I am hungry and the food is served." She tried to divert the topic.
"First give me answer."
"Food will get cold."
"Okay" Jungkook said.
"Okay?" The lady asked confused.
"Yeah okay.... Let's have dinner... I will just go and change." He spoke blankly and stood up from the sofa to go to their shared bedroom.
So Hee looked at the retreating back of Jungkook as he made his way into the bedroom.
Did he get mad?
No issues.
She has all the night to make up things with his husband.
