Molly's POV:

He leaned in close to me... So close to the point I could smell the spiciness of his cologne and the liquor on his breath. Was he about to make a move? Or am I going crazy?

"Molly..." He grumbled under his breath, his hand resting on my exposed thigh.

It sent shivers down my spine. How can one simple touch and my best friend saying my name have me this much in a chokehold?

"Y-yeah...?" I stuttered as I soon started to feel a little drowsy.

My head was spinning and everything seemed to be a total blur. Jon was speaking, but my brain just wasn't comprehending a single word he had said.

Soon enough, I passed out from the drowsiness that the alcohol had given me and little did my intoxicated self knew, I had fallen asleep in my best friend's arms...

**The next morning**

My head was pounding like crazy and I knew all too well what was wrong; a hangover... Jeez, you would think by now I'd learn my lesson, but it hasn't happened yet... I don't think it'll happen anytime soon.

To my surprise, Jon was actually still asleep on the couch and another surprise that caught me off guard... He had stripped out of his Raised Rowdy raccoon t-shirt, and oh my Lord...

I'm not the type of girl to be in love with my best friend, but there's no denying that he is fine. I always knew he was inked up, but I didn't know it was like this!

My teeth sunk into my bottom lip as I watched every breath he took whilst sleeping soundly. God, I need to go home and take a cold shower- ogling over my best friend is not a flex, whatsoever.

I grabbed my hoodie I had wore last night and my car keys, soon walking out of his house. Walking out and leaving had me feeling regretful because I should've stayed to see if he had some medicine to combat this headache of mine.

But, I have to be at work at 10:30 this morning and it's already 8! Well, so much for taking a shower before work- I don't even think I'll have time to eat me anything until lunch break, which isn't until 2 in the afternoon... And they tend to call me in early, so I won't be surprised if it happens this morning as well.

I got into my white sedan and backed out of the driveway, soon heading back to my own house. Man, I am so irresponsible for drinking and partying with him knowing good and well that I had to be at work in the morning. Ugh, at least there's a Starbucks not far from where I work at.

I got home and as soon as my foot stepped on the floor, I was even more tired than I was to begin with. Calling out isn't prohibited, but they would prefer if you didn't call out... Unless it's an emergency or something urgent like that, then they ask no further explanation.

My phone buzzed and it was just as I suspected... One of my fellow hairdressers and best friend needs help opening this morning. She's only opened the salon maybe once before, but that was under my supervision.

I know, it's cliché, but me and Claudia, my best friend- we went to cosmetology school together and now we work at the same salon together. Apart from Jon, she's the best friend a girl could ask for! Me and her have known each other for close to ten years, so of course we do literally everything together.
