~Third person POV~
"Mr. Wonka! Ms. (L/n)! A word in private, if I may."
"Uh... certainly!" Willy shouted. (Y/n) quickly turned to Noodle, who now stood beside her. "You need to get out of here, Noodle." Noodle's worried brown eyes looked up at the (h/c) "But (Y/n)--" Willy looked over at the teenager. "Don't worry about us, I've talked my way out of tighter spots than this. We'll meet you back at the cart." He reassured.
Noodle nodded and ran off with the bucket of giraffe milk. As the chief approached he turned to the officer the chocolatiers met twice at the Galleria. "You be on your way, Affable."
"Are you sure, sir?"
The chief to the duo. "Oh yeah. This is between me, Mr. Wonka, and Ms. (L/n)." The officer hesitantly nodded. "Very good, sir." He walked away, leaving the duo alone with the chief. Willy awkwardly cleared his throat. "Now Officer, if this is about Abigail..."
Before any more could be said, the chief suddenly picked the two up by their collars, startling them. "What're you doing?!" (Y/n) yelped with wide eyes. The chief dragged the two to a frozen fountain and plunged the two into the water. "I've got a message for you, pal."
"Don't sell chocolate in this town!"
He yanked the two gaping chocolatiers up, their face and hair drenched and dripping as they caught their breath. "Got it?!" The duo shared a look before looking back at the chief. "Not really, I'm afraid," Willy muttered with a confused look.
"Oh, you got a mouth on you, huhCandyman? I said..." He plunged the two back into the water as they struggled. "Don't sell chocolate!" He brought them back up. "You hear me this time?" (Y/n) gasped in water. "We had water in our ears."
The chief sighed. "Oh. Yeah, that does make sense. I'm sorry, I'm all outta whack. Truth is, I don't want to be doing this." Willy shook his head. "We don't want you to be doing this." The chief hummed. "There you go, so we got that in common. But I still gotta give you a message. I catch you selling chocolate on any street in this city, and you'll get more than a bonk on the head." (Y/n) furrowed her brows. "We don't have a bonk on the head."
The chief groaned to himself. "What is with me today?! Can you wait just a moment?" Willy hummed, one hand in his pocket while the other held (Y/n)'s hand. "Sure." The chief grabbed his nightstick and struck the two on the head.

In their laundry bags, Willy and (Y/n) rode in the basket until they made it to the laundry chute. "See you downstairs," Willy whispered to Noodle before rolling down the steep drop, (Y/n) behind him. They landed in the wash house and climbed out, now face to face with a stern Crunch.
"Mr Wonka! Ms. (L/n)! Good of you to join us."
"Not late are we?" Willy asked.
"No. Cutting it a bit fine, but-- "
Willy fixed up (Y/n)'s coat and looked back at Crunch. "Tiddles been pulling his weight?" The man hummed more happily. "As a matter of fact, Tiddles is a marvel and productivity is up thirty percent."
Chucklesworth quickly appeared. "We took the afternoon off." Crunch looked sternly at the comedian. "But that's not the point." Chucklesworth pointed at him. "That's the point."
"Not now, Larry."
"Sorry."
Crunch looked back at the young adults. "The point is, where have you two been?" Piper came up to them. "And why do you smell of giraffe?" Willy sighed. "Guess we do owe you an explanation. Truth is we're chocolate makers."
