~Third Person POV~
Mrs. Scrubitt led the two chocolatiers up multiple flights of stairs to their shared room. The woman opened a door to a small room with one bed and a sink. "Here you are Mr. Wonka, Ms. (L/n), the entrepreneurial suite. A sink, plus soap, and a little mint on your pillows." She listed off in her British accent. "Fantastic!" Willy happily said following her.
"What kind of people." He whispered to the girl beside him. (Y/n) could only hum in reply.
-----
The next morning, the chocolatiers stood together as they waited for the gates to the shops to open. Once it had hit 10 am, everyone could walk inside. They stopped in front of the empty shop they had admired the day before and took a breath. Willy sat his suitcase on the floor and stood his cane up. He pulled out a small piece of chocolate with a covering that had 'Wonka' written across it in fancy handwriting. "Here we go, mama..." He whispered. (Y/n) smiled softly a gently held his arm. "Go on."
Willy smiled and stood on his suitcase. He turned to look at the people walking around with (Y/n) beside him. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE GALERIES GOURMET!" Those walking by seemed to stop at his sudden exclamation. "My name is Willy Wonka, and this is my partner, (Y/n) (L/n). We have come to show you a marvelous morsel, an incredible edible, an unbeatable eatable the likes of which this world has never seen, so quiet up and listen down." He paused and held a finger up. "No. Scratch that, reverse it. I give you the Hoverchoc."
He held up a small green chocolate and pulled out a small harmonica. He played with it and the outer shell of the chocolate seemed to open and close. "In a... jungle near Mumbai, There's a little hover-fly, Whose wings go at a thousand flaps a sec and that's no lie!" By now there was a huge crowd standing in front of him. "These microscopic fleas like chocolate more than leaves, And when asked nicely lay precisely one little egg in each of these!" The owners of each of the chocolate shops stood at their windows, observing the boy and girl. Willy pulled out a large glass container that held many Hoverchocs.
"When it hatches from its shell, It gives a happy yell! Woohoo! How thrilling to be living in a chocolate hotel!" Willy continued to sing, dancing in a circle with the (h/c). "It beats its wings with glee, And then as you will see, The chocolate will levitate and float most gracefully..." He opened the jar and all of the chocolates floated into the air.
"Well there's chocolate, And there's chocolate! Only mine can make your eyes pop out their socke-lets! Put your hand into your pocke-let!" The chocolate seemed to be going in a circle around the crowd, a few of them circling the (h/c) quickly, making her giggle before returning with the rest. "Get yourself some Wonka chocolate! Come now I insist, You've never had chocolate like this!" (Y/n) handed Willy the jar back and he opened it, making all the levitating chocolates return to the glass. "No, you've never had chocolate like this!" The crowd clapped and applauded the boy happily.
(Y/n) looked at him with a beaming smile. "They love you!" He smiled bashfully and tipped his hat. "Well, who wants to try one?"
"I will."
The crowd parted and one of the chocolate store owners, Slugworth, approached the duo. He was a dark-skinned man with a blue suit. "Mr. Slugworth, sir." They muttered in surprise. The second owner, Fickelgruber, walked towards them. He was a tall and scrawny man with a green suit and a greying mustache. "Mr. Fickelgruber!" Lastly, the third owner, Prodnose, came to the circle. He was a short pale man with orange hair and a yellow suit. "And Mr. Prodnose, wow. What an honor." Willy smiled in surprise. He held out his hand. "Ever since I was a little boy--" Slugworth took his hand and squeezed it, making the (h/c) beside him wince. "That's quite a handshake!"
