Chapter 32: New Discovery

+ ' Eos pov ' +

TIME SKIP - 8 MONTHS

Things have been running smoothly since Archer and Tara had taken the role as mafia boss. Wyatt and I had made peace with stepping down as boss, and had finally gotten pregnant again. It was a bit hard at first, I wasn't sure how to deal with the free time and the death of my child. I slept a lot during that time, only getting up for necessary needs. Wyatt was by my side every step of the way, through the good and the bad.

+ ' Narrator ' +

As the meeting gathered Eos and Wyatt sat towards the back, away from most of the other mafia members. Eos sat in a chair holding her stomach as Wyatt rubbed her back. Towards the front of the room Archer and Tara set down some files before sucking on each others faces like leaches. They were usually like this everyday so it didn't surprise anyone.

"All right people, lets get settled down." Archer said was he pat Tara's head and grabbed a few files. "So as you all know we have been trying to keep our undercover numbers lower, if we could stop getting requests to go into that it would be nice considering we already have enough people for it. Next, we need a few people to spy on the McKinley mafia. Creed, Wyatt and I will go, the rest of you go on border patrols and work on training."

+ ' Eos pov ' +

I watched as Archer and Tara got up to hand out files and split people into groups. I watched as Tara came up to me and handed Wyatt a folder before grabbing my hand.

"You can come with Wrenly and I. I am just going through a few plant cards with her to make sure she knows her plants." Tara pulled on my hand to get me up.

"Ok" I said standing up before I looked at Wyatt. He gave me a nod and a smile before he got up and walked towards Creed and began talking.

I grabbed my stomach as I followed Tara towards the living room. As we got into the living room I could see Wrenly sitting on the couch with a pile of flashcards in her lap. Her blonde hair in a messy bun instead of its usual ponytail. She waved at us and motioned for us to sit down.

"Hey Wrenly, how are the flash cards going." I said taking a seat on the couch.

"They are going pretty good." Wrenly gathered the flash cards into a pile and set them down on the coffee table in front of the couch.

"Alright what is this one." Tara went through the cards and held one up at Wrenly.

"Juniper." Wrenly said as Tara nodded.

I watched as they went through a few more cards before I got up and headed to the kitchen. I walked in the kitchen to see one of the chef's washing dishes.

"Anything I could help you with miss Eos?" He turned to me.

"Do you have an peanut butter brownies?" It has been what I had been craving for a majority of my pregnancy so usually the chef's always had some made.

"Of course I do, we always have some for you miss Eos." The chef said as he held out a big plate of brownies.

"Thank you" I grabbed the plate and went back to the couch as Wrenly and Tara continued their flashcards.

I ate the whole plate of brownies as I watched Tara and Wrenly go through card after card. Before we knew it they were on the last card throughout the deck. As they were finishing the last card Wyatt, Creed, and Archer came into the door like they had seen a ghost.

"Are you guys ok?" I got up to walk towards them. Wyatt knelt down and kissed my stomach before standing to place a kiss on the top of my head.

"Yeah we just need to talk to Tara, you, and Wrenly." Creed said handing Archer the file they had brought with them.

I went back to the couch and sat as the boys walked to the couch, sitting on the floor.

"Wrenly do you have something to say to us." Archer looked at her before grabbing the flash cards from Tara.

"Archer what are you trying to get at-" Tara begun to speak before Archer put a finger to her lips.

"About what?" Wrenly had looked confused.

"Wrenly we know that Riot and Carmen were your parents. We just found out." Archer said.

I looked at Wrenly as tears filled her eyes, I could tell that she didn't want anyone to know. But I had never known my sister had a kid, which meant Wrenly was my niece.

"I am really sorry, I didn't want anyone to know." Wrenly sniffled, "They didn't even raise me..."

I watched as Wrenly looked down, tears streaming down her face.

"I do not consider Riot and Carmen my parents. Archer and Tara had been more like parents in a week then Riot and Carmen had been my whole life. I ran away because I couldn't handle them beating on me any longer. I don't want to leave." Wrenly said before she turned and hugged Tara.

Tara hugged her back as Archer stood up and hugged them both.

"You won't have to leave Wrenly, we just didn't know." Archer said as he wiped away Wrenly's tears.

You could tell that she was already starting to feel better. I made my way back to the kitchen with the plate after I noticed the smell of more brownies filling the air. Wyatt was not far behind me after I entered the kitchen.

"More brownies?" The chef turned to me with brownies he had just pulled out of the oven.

"Yes please, oh my goodness!" I said as I gently set the empty plate on the counter. I watched as the chef placed more brownies onto the plate as Wyatt stood behind me holding me. I grabbed the plate and turned towards Wyatt with a big smile on my face. He smiled and kissed my cheek before grabbing the plate from me and holding out his hand for me to take. I grabbed his hand and followed him to our bedroom. He placed the brownies in my lap after I sat down and turned on a movie for us to watch.
