**Brandon POV**

I stood in my new room, feeling a bit better, knowing my pack is doing just as good. My room was much better then the closet.

I saw a laptop on the desk and decided to see what was on it

I saw a laptop on the desk and decided to see what was on it. I went to open it, but all i saw a keyboard. Pushing the power button, it popped up a hologram screen. It had nothing useful, so I went to the internet and looked up the one thing this war was focused on: Humans. It popped up some news articals. A lot of them were interesting.

*14 arrested in Whalesburg after Anti-Human prostest turned voilent*

*New laws puts Humans on Protected and Endangered Speices lists*

*'My life with a Human': a true story about couple's bizzare relationship*

Normally I don't worry about others relationships, but that last one stood out for some reason. I clicked the link and it was a video about a human man and a fox anthro woman. I decided to watch for a bit.

*video*

Interviewer: "So how long have you two been together?"

Human: "On going ten years now, right?"

Anthro: "Yeah, around ten. I never bothered keeping track."

Interviewer: "How did you happen to find each other?"

Anthro: "I was actually visiting some family members on their new patch of land and saw some smoke in the woods on said land and I brought my shotgun with me and found my Jacky."

Human: "I was camping for the night and had no idea where I was. Next thing I knew, I had a shotgun pointed at my head. I expected alot of things, but never did I think that Sandria would be the love of my life."

Interviewer: "What happened that caused you to spare him?"

Human: "I think you know."

Inerviewer: "No? That's why I asked."

Anthro: "He simply stole my heart."

???: "Mommy, can I have a drink of water?"

Human: "Kiddo, you're supposed to be asleep."

Interviewer: "Who's that?"

Anthro: "That is our son, Danny."

**Brandon POV**

I simply sat and watched as they explained their relationship, struggles, and acceptence. Watching them, it made me long for something I've been trying to advoid for over four years: Companionship.

Scarlet: "Hey Brandon."

Brandon: "Yeah, what's up?"

Scarlet: "Me and the girls were going to watch a movie tonight. Wanna join?"
