"Pamela, wake up" the sound of my cringing bed, someone shaking me wriggly woke me up.
"Ugh" the beam of light shine unto my face almost making me blind
"Pamela, c'mon wake up"
"Nicole" I squirmed my eyes not able to see clearly
"Yup, it's me"
"Oh my gosh" i screamed in excitement
Nicole Fern was the last piece forming I and Austin trio
She's tall, slim, adored with shoulder length marigold hair
Her cute ebony eyes were the talk of the town, cute dimple, her glasses matching her hair color
"Nic, you didn't tell me you were in town" I grumbled in annoyance
"Yah, darling I wanted it to be a surprise, I have something for you"
I stood up, leaving for the bathroom
"So how's modeling" I asked while putting on my shower cap
"Ugh" she groaned "it's the worst, no fun activity, always posing like a duck anyways"
I laughed, Nicole rolled her eyes at me
"You know I bought you a present"
"Wh--at is it" I muffled, while brushing my teeth

Droplets of Water were drooling from my hair, while I struggled with the parking
I got dressed into a blue jeans and black tee, Nicole was seated in the living room watching a movie, I parked my hair into a ponytail
"Not changed I see" she shook her head in discontent
"What do you mean" the brows on my face furrowed
"Your apartment is still dirty"
I glanced around, yep it was, bags, cartons of food, can, pizza and all sort scattered everywhere
"So far, so good" I shurrged my shoulders
"So what's the rush, I mean you clearly told me it was three years contract, it isn't up to a year yet"
I collected the popcorn bowl from her, she placed her left hand on my lap
I glanced at it, and couldn't help but notice the huge ring, which has a diamond on it
"No way" I gasped in extreme delight
"Yes way, darling"
Both of us ended up screaming like teenage girls who were going for their first date
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe it was happening so soon"
We ended up pouring the whole popcorn away
"Great, now your apartment just got more dirty" She looked around, shaking her head.
"I've got to call Austin, he has to come here" Nicole brought out her phone, while I was trying hard to fight my emotions
At this point, they aren't running well
"Ah, you know what, we're going out, ice cream date as usual"
"Yeah, that's sounds nice"
"I'll call Jean Claude, he should meet us in the next few hours, I'm going to dress up at my mom's house"
She excitedly left the room, I grabbed a throw pillow at my right, giving it a tight squeeze and crying my eyes out
"Why, why does the wrong thing happen to me all the time"
"She's almost getting married and here I'm I stuck with no one but friends and family, ugh" I let out a frustration sign before dragging my self out of the living room
I changed into some white crop, with black jeans and trainers, grabbing my keys from the couch
I rushed out of the apartment, tiptoeing my way to the elevator, Mrs Petal mustn't catch me
The elevator door open, I was about entering when a voice made me stop
"Ah, sneaking away are we" she called out, I rushed inside the elevator , pressing the
button as fast as I can
Unfortunately, she caught up
"You haven't answered my question dearie" she spoke in her nice tiny voice
"Ms petals I wasn't sneaking away, I was just going out" I corrected
"But why were you tiptoeing to the elevator" she asked, I stared at her, I could identify some changes
She had done her hair, dressed in a corporate outfit, had put on makeup
I know where this was going
"Hmm" I cleared my throat
"Looks like I aren't the only one sneaking away"
"What do you mean" she stared at me with a confused look
"Ms petals, looks like your boyfriend is in town, you're going to visit him in his office "
She rolled her eyes instantly, I tried to stifle my laugh, but I couldn't
After minutes, the elevator door opened, I dashed my way out of there, not wanting anymore interrogation from her.
