Chapter - 20 Open Talk

(4 days later, In Phoenix Mansion)

Yi and Nuer went to the guest room while Uea, Kuea, Diao and Syn are gathered in Uea's room.

(In Guest Room)

Yi: "This is your last day in this room." he smirked after seeing the fear in Rain's eyes. "It's nice to see you like this but don't worry, you are not going to die."

Nuer: "As we said before, we will leave you and your baby at your place tomorrow."

Rain: "Why did you not killed me? Why did you treated me nicely?"

Nuer: "We are not a cruel people like your family. We just want to keep your gang busy."

Rain: "Cruel?.. Your family had killed a 5 year old kid without mercy!.. And you are talking about cruelty?.." raised his voice in anger.

Yi: "Shut up!.. What are you blabbering? Our family didn't do anything like that.. It's your family!.. who killed our parents!.." he shouted back.

(Rose started crying)

Rain: "Now, you are talking nonsense!.. My family didn't do anything like that!..

(Door opens)

(Syn and Uea entered the room)

Syn: "Hia Yi.. Nuer.. Why are you guys shouting? Can't you see the baby, crying here?"

Nuer: "Why you guys come here?"

Syn: "First, this is not a basement so we will come here anytime we want.. and we should not treat him badly." saying that he looked at Rain's ankles which are tied. "Atleast we shouldn't hurt them.. Second, We came here for Rose. You heartless people made her cry."

Rain: "See.. you family member.. calling you as heartless people." said it in a mocking tone.

(Yi goes to beat Rain but others stopped him)

Nuer: "Hia! Calm down.. Don't listen to him."

Yi: "This time, I leave you. If you want to be alive, don't come in front of me again." he warned Rain and left the room.

Rain's Mind Voice: "As if I'm coming out of the room and roaming here and there. Is he having mud in his head, instead of brain?"

(After some time, In Uea's Bedroom)

(Uea, Kuea, Diao and Syn are in the room)

Kuea: "Uea, as we are alone here.. We want to share some secrets with you."

(Notification receive sound)

Uea: "What is that phi?"

Syn: "Our secret group. No one knows about it, even King. Now, you are in it."

Diao: "That 4 brothers also have a separate group like this and till now, they are thinking that we don't know about it."

(Everyone laughing and chatting)

Moments later..

Syn: "We didn't get a chance to have an open talk like this before. Let's share about ourselves."

Kuea: "Let me start first.. Actually we are all childhood friends. As we grew older, we started to have feelings for each other and King was the mediator for our love.

Diao: "Few years back, Kuea's parents planned to move permanently to America.. That time King risked his life for making Kuea to stay here. On the way to the airport, King called him and lied that hia Lian involved in an accident and admitted in the hospital. Hearing that, he immediately rushed to the hospital.."

Kuea: "And there only my hubby proposed me and then we got married." said that with the shyness.

Diao: "Wait wait.. You are skipping that beautiful part.. After finding the truth, King almost died in the hands of Kuea.. He stayed in the hospital for 2 days." he laughed.

Syn: "During their wedding, Nuer asked me, "Will you be my boyfriend?" by himself so I didn't work hard like Diao.

Uea: "What happened phi?"

Diao: "When I'm proposed him for the first time, he rejected me."

Kuea: "I told him not to fall in love with hia Yi but he didn't listen. He fall in love with a phycho."

Diao: "Shut up!.. I'm only call him like that.." he throws a pillow at Kuea. "Even though he is a phycho, he loves me and his family so much. He is TOUCH HIM AND YOU DIE type.. then what's the problem."

Syn: "Not only hia Yi.. whole family belongs to that type."

Uea: "I agree with you P'Syn. I still can't forget, how angry he was when he killed those bullies.. But I don't know what happened to Guy 1.. King is not telling me."

Syn: "You won't see him again so leave it as it is.."

Diao: "Yeah.. Leave it as it is.. Now, listen to me.. It took me a lot of efforts to make him realise his love towards me. For hia Lian's love, King risked his life but for my love, I risked mine and hia's.. King locked us in a cool storage room. I told him (King) not to open the door until hia propose to me We spent nearly 5 hours inside."

Uea: "Wow phi.. You are like LOVE ME OR DIE WITH ME."

(Everyone laughing)

Syn: "Uea, now tell about yourself."

Uea: "Mm.. Nothing much to say about me.. I'm grown up in an orphanage.. Doesn't remember, how I ended up there.."

Diao: "Why?"

Uea: "I lost my memory due to some accident.. When I gained conscious, I found myself there. The nurse who worked in the orphanage told me that someone left me in front of the orphanage. So according to me, my life started from the age of 5.. I can't say that my life went smoothly but it's not that much bad.. After finishing my school, I realised the reality of the society.. I moved out from the orphanage, joined in a cafe as a part time worker. There I met some good people. As time passes, they are become my family."

The three of them are silently listening to Uea. At the same time, outside the room.. King is also listening to their conversation with a sad face.

Uea: "Actually.. I'm an average student."

Syn: "Huh?.. But you are studying by the scholarship right?.. Then how?"

Uea: "I'm not good at studies at first but I had no other choice. Getting scholarship is the only way to complete my degree. So during my first semester, I studied most of the time without any break and worked extra hours for extra money, until I ended up in the hospital." he said it with a smile but for others.. their eyes are covered with tears.

Kuea: "Uea, you are really a strong person." he and others hugged him.

Uea: "I'm sorry Phi.. for making you guys to cry."

(Outside the Room)

Ton: "Hey King, I'm searching you for a long time. What are you doing here?"

(Inside the Room)

Uea: "King?.."

(All 4 looking at each other)
