Chapter - 9 Playing With The Beast

(In Cafe Office Room)

Mary's Dad: "Why do you want 2 shifts?"

Uea: "I want some extra money for next semester uncle."

Mary's Dad: "Uea, I know about you very well. I believe.. you can get scholarship for your next semester, just like you got for previous semesters."

(Uea looking at Mary's Dad)

Mary's Dad: "You don't need to stress yourself. Concentrate on your studies."

Uea: "But.."

Mary's Dad: "No but.. Did you forget about the last time? I can't see you like that again.."

Uea: "Ok Uncle, I will concentrate on my studies but can I do extra work on weekends?.. Please.."

Mary's Dad: "Ok fine."

Uea: "Thank you so much Uncle." happily said.

(Uea walk out from the room)

Uea: "Mm.. Mary, Where is he?"

Mary: "He's gone."

Uea: "Did you see his face?"

Mary: "No."

Uea's Mind Voice: "Who is he? His eyes felt familiar."

(Night, 10 PM)

When Uea leaving the cafe, King again follows him.

Uea's Mind Voice: "Something is wrong here.. Why is this car following me?" he increased his speed of walking.

King noticed that and decided to leave the place as Uea scared by his actions.

King: "Sorry Princess, for scaring you. Have a good night." he left the place.

(Uea sighed)

Uea: "I thought, I was going to be kidnapped. Thank God, that car gone from here." he reached his apartment.

(In Phoenix Mansion)

As it's a bedtime, King thought that everyone would have been slept or been in their rooms. So, he slowly entered the mansion in the dark.

But suddenly the lights are turned on..

Nuer: "King.." called him softly.

King: "I'm dead." he murmured and stopped walking.

Nuer: "Welcome home darling. How was your day? Was it fun?" asked him softly.

King: "Hia Nuer, you can scold me or even beat me but don't talk like this, please."

Nuer: "Why N'King? Why should I scold you or beat you? You just ignore the important work and went to stalk an innocent boy, even though he rejected your proposal. It's not a big issue." softly said.

King: "Hey! I'm not a stalker. I just want to know about his daily routine."

Nuer: "If you want to know about someone, you should send a spy to collect the details. Are you a Mafia Prince or a Stalker Prince?"

King: "Nuer.. I'm not a stalker!"

Nuer: "Yes, you are! Now go to my room."

King: "Huh?"

Nuer: "You heard me right. Syn is sleeping, go and wake him up."

King: "What! Why should I do that?"

Nuer: "That's your punishment."

King: "That's not a punishment but an attempt murder. What if I die there?"

Nuer: "You will get a grand funeral ceremony.. Are you going to wake up Syn or give your cards and cars to me? The choice is yours." said it by controlling his laugh.

King: "If I die today, I will haunt you forever." said angrily and went upstairs.

(Nuer is laughing by closing his mouth with his hands)

(In Syn's Bedroom)

King slowly opened the lock of the door and went inside.

King's Mind Voice: "It feels like I'm entering into the tiger's cave." he slowly walk towards the bed in the dark.

(Snoring sound)

King's Mind Voice: "How can I wake him up?.. Hey King, shout his name loudly and ran immediately from here." he nodded and went near him.

King: "HEY SYN! HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!" he shouted and ran towards the door but he can't open it. "Why it is locked?" he got scared and the room filled with the bitter scent.

(Outside the room)

Nuer, Lian and Kuea were locked the door and eavesdropping while giggling.

King: "Aahhh... Hey doggy boy Aahhh... Stop biting me.. NUER! Open the door. Aahhh..."

(Everyone laughing from outside)

Moments later..

Syn: "Nuer! Take this stray dog out of our room!" he shouted.

(Door opens)

Nuer: "Oh my dear King.. Do you want any help from hia?"

King: "Stop! Handle your rabies dog. I can go out by myself." irritatedly said and left the room. "Tomorrow I need to get vaccine for rabies. He bite me.. scratch me.. That rabies dog.." he murmured to himself.

(King gave a deadly stare to Lian and Kuea)

King: "It's my turn." he smirked and said, "Syn.. Nuer told me to wake you up because you are snoring loudly. He also told that he can't tolerate your snoring sound."

Nuer: "Hey King, when did I.."

Syn: "Get out from my room." he kicked Nuer out of the room and locked the door.

Nuer: "Baby.. he's lying. Don't believe him." he knocked the door but no response from inside.

King: "Good night everybody." he happily went to his room with the pain on his body.

(Next day evening)

Day knocking the door. "Come in." King replied. "Did you get all the details?" he asked. "See by yourself boss." he handover a file to him.

King: "What is this?"

Day: "These are the details which are able to collect, boss."

King: "You call this as details? I already found these." he throw the file on the table.

Day: "Sorry boss.. We need some more time."

King: "Do it fast.."
