Taehyung made his way into one of the main neurology staff rooms to see all his friends there, he grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down next to Namjoon, he noticed that Taehyung looked uneasy.

"Everything okay? You shouldn't be stressing on your lunch break."

Taehyung smiled and explained Jungkook's situation to the group, they were all in shock as he managed to hide his struggles so well.

"Im tempted to ask him to stay with me.. i have so much space it would be perfect for us.. i mean him. For him." Taehyung stumbles over his words and his face immediately gets redder, the group bursts into laughter.

"OOOH!! TAEHYUNG'S GOT A CRUSH!" Jimin burst out cackling and dancing around the room. Taehyung hid his face in his hands.

"No.. no it wouldnt be appropriate, his partner left him when his son was born! Thats not that long ago.." Taehyung mumbled but sat thinking about Jungkook.

"Taehyung go for it!! He might like you back! I've seen the way he looks at you. Take your shot!" Jin said ruffling Tae's hair. Tae nods before going back to the office, he opens the door and sees Jungkook rushing and putting some scrubs on, he closes the door quickly and picks up Joongi.

"Whats wrong?"

"C-can you please look after Joongi? I need to go into theatre, my patient needs surgery now!" Jungkook said rushing to put his crocs on.

"Yeah yeah of course he's fine with me just go okay? He will be okay." Taehyung said opening the door for Jungkook as he runs out and into the elevator to go to theatre. Taehyung picks up Joongi's bag and goes back to sit with the group.

"Hobi or Jiminie? Are one of you going to surgery Jungkook's just been called up." Tae asked as he walked in with Joongi.

"Yeah Jimin is gunna go up." Hobi said already taking Joongi out of Tae's arms to start playing.

"Brill thanks min, if Jungkook needs one of us just give us a call." Tae replies as Jimin is leaving.

"Will do."

*In the operating room; 3hrs later*

"So Jungkookie, you and Tae seem pretty close huh?" Jimin generally tries to keep a light conversation so Jungkook doesn't stress too much. They had been working together in theatre ever since the new year started and had started to learn a little bit about one another.

"Yeah.. he's great.. i mean.." Jungkook chuckles, he feels himself going red in the face, Jimin just laughs and passes him the scalpel before he even asks.

The surgery was going extremely well as Jimin was about to pass the scalpel again Jungkook felt the colour drain from his face, he grabbed the scalpel and was about to make a small incision but pulled away, he swayed ever so slightly and the scalpel fell out of his hand. The team looked at him and saw him struggling to keep his eyes open, he took a step back but stumbled and he crashed into a trolley of equipment, Jimin rushed to his side and held him.

"Jungkook, what's wrong? Tell me now."

Jungkook couldn't form a full sentence, Jimin pulled off his mask and his scrub hat and saw how pale Jungkook had turned.

"D-dizzy.." was all Jungkook could say, the anaesthesiologist quickly grabbed a chair and the team were about to sit their neurosurgeon down but Jungkook grabbed onto Jimin's arm before falling backwards into a large cabinet, he layed still on the floor on his back, his whole body turned floppy and his breathing became laboured. Jimin fell on his knees and felt a burning sensation on his forehead, he tried shaking him to wake up.

"JUNGKOOK! JUNGKOOK!"

"So Tae, are you gunna tell him to stay at yours?"Seokjin asks. He watches as Tae looks at Joongi with a smile.

"Maybe.. I've known him for a few months so ut wouldnt be weird right? I dont want to rush into things."

"Go for it Tae, he needs this, he's been struggling with that little boy for years and i know you have only known him a few months but he feels so close to you." Namjoon said with a big smile. "Now he's finally opened up to you give him what he deserves."

Taehyung nodded and the group sat in a comfortable silence until Taehyung's phone rang, he saw it was from Jimin and stood up.
"Hey min, do you guys need a hand or?-"

"Tae! TAE PLEASE COME! I- I" Jimin said frantically over the phone, he heard shouting in the background.

"Minnie talk to me what's happening?!" Taehyung ran out of the room to go towards the operating rooms and Namjoon and Yoongi followed whilst Hobi and Jin stayed with Joongi.

"J-JUNGKOOK HES JUST.. HE SAID HE FELT DIZZY TAE.. and he just fell on the floor.. TAE PLEASE HURRY!"

Tae ended the call immediately and ran as fast as he could through the people going up the stairs, he wasn't stopping for anything even his brothers calls, he made it into the operating room and saw the nurses putting him on his side and Jimin rubbing his sternum trying to wake him up. When he saw Taehyung he moved and Taehyung shook him before feeling a fever on his head.

"KOOKIE! JUNGKOOK you better wake up r-right now! T-this isn't funny.." Taehyung tried to wake him up but there was no reaction, Namjoon and Yoongi rushed in immediately and Yoongi picked him up straight away.

"I NEED A ROOM, GET ME A ROOM NOW!"
