12. Time Off? 🖤

*Knock Knock Knock*

Taehyung entered his parent's office and sees his Mom sitting at the desk, she smiles at him before noticing a small boy in his arms and she stands up before ushering Taehyung to sit on the couch.

Who is this gorgeous little man then hm?" Taehyung's mom exclaimed. Taehyung just chuckled and looked down at Joongi.

"You know.. Jungkook who i was mentioning?"

"Ah yes, incredibly precious to our hospital and such a lovely young man too, is this his son? I definitely see a resemblance." Taehyung's mom asked and Tae nodded with a giggle. "Where is he? Is he doing surgery? I didnt see any on the list.."

Taehyung's mom saw Tae turn a bit more serious and he lowered his eyeline, Tae's mom moved closer to him and lifted his chin so they were looking at one another.
"Whats happened Taehyung."

"W-well.. i wanted to come and talk to you because Jungkook can't financially support Joongi without doing lots of overtime and well.. he's overworked himself to the point that he has been admitted.. he's passed out twice within a week and he needs a break.."

Taehyung's mom was silent for a second. "I see.. well i will absolutely give him the time off that is needed but if he wont stop doing overtime there isn't much i can do to help. I would love to but its his decision and i don't want to put him in a struggle.." She watched as Taehyung held Joongi tighter.

"I love him.. and.. i asked him if he wanted to move in with me a few days ago but he said he could manage.. but he cant and im afraid if i ask him again he will say no.." Taehyung was pulled into his mother's embrace and he took a deep breath.
"Just tell him how you feel, tell him that he needs to move, he needs to take care of himself. You need to tell him how much you care about him otherwise he is just going to think he's being a burden on you and thats not true at all." Taehyung's mom gave Joongi a little tickle.
"Take a few days off, and try get him settled into your place okay? Ill pop round tomorrow and i can have a word with both of you about a schedule. How is he doing now?"

"I think he's okay, Jinnie said he will have concussion and he hit his head pretty hard so he's got some stitches but nothing overly serious.. just a bit concerning.." Taehyung's mom nodded and gave him a squeeze. After a while Taehyung stood up and thanked his mom before going back to Jungkook's room. He opened the door and he was trying to be quiet as he thought Jungkook was still asleep. He put Joongi in his crib and turned immediately when he heard a small sniffle, he rushed to Jungkook's side to see him sobbing into his blanket.

"Kookie? Hey Kookie talk to me.. do you want me to get Yoongi? Is it your head? Do you feel-"

"Y-you were right.. t-tae.." Jungkook cried, Taehyung froze for a second before sitting on the side of Jungkook's bed, he wiped his tears and held his cheek in his hand. "I'm sorry.. i put you through so much stress.. I- I thought i could manage but i can't.. i need you.."

Taehyung's heart broke into pieces looking at Jungkook. "Hey.. you are an amazing father to that little boy.. and i know you would do anything for him but.. he needs his father to help him safe and so do i because i love you and i want to take care of you-"

"-wait.. go back.." jungkook's heart was in his mouth.. he stared up at Taehyung's eyes. "Y-you what?"

"Uhm.. i want to take care of you..?"

"N-no.. before that.." Taehyung looked at Jungkook before pulling him in for a loving kiss, Jungkook held Taehyung tightly and they parted for a breath, their foreheads against each other's. "I love you." Taehyung whispered, Jungkook had even more tears spilling out of his eyes, he smiled and whispered, "I love you too."

The pair spent time talking about the house before watching some movies even though Jungkook was asleep through the majority of them. The pair then had some food with Joongi and just tried to make the most of the day, even though it had started out a little rocky.
