Izuku had enough. Nobody seemed to care about him. Not even inko did anything to stop bakugo from bullying him. All might didn't believe he could become a hero. He remembered what bakugo had told him last night. At this point Izuku didn't care anymore. He had nothing to lose. If he didn't get a quirk then he'd figure out what he'd do later. Izuku then jumped off the roof of his middle school. A few seconds before he hit the ground he had an odd feeling. He then closed his eyes.
But when he should have hit the ground he opened his eyes. In front of him was his own dead body. Izuku noticed that his body was a female version of his dead body. Understandably he panicked for a bit. Then he realized what happened. He now had a quirk. Granted an odd quirk. but it was a quirk nonetheless. Any time he died he'd swap body's and genders with a clone of himself that is created the instant he died. And the clone seems to not have any of his injures from before or after his death. Not even his numerous burn scars from bakugo. The only drawback Izuku could guess had to do with hunger.
He knew he had dinner before he left the house. In fact. He still was full before his death. Yet Izuku currently felt starving. While it was still night time Izuku had sneaked his way back home and had some food. He knew inko would be too concerned about the situation rather than his new quirk. And so he decided to get his backpack along with his hero books and money. He didn't know where he should go. But he knew it would be bad if he stayed. There was no good way to explain his quirk without any chance of being judged more than he already had for previously lacking a quirk.
And there was no point in being a hero. If the quirkless couldn't be a hero then logically someone who only had the ability to die a theoretically infinite number of times couldn't either. Or did all might just have a flawed view of what it takes to be a hero?. Though regardless it isn't that specialized for anything. As a hero it would mean you wouldn't have to worry about dieing. That's basically it. As a villain it's the same. Even for a vigilante or even a civilian it doesn't have that much to offer.
There was no clear path for his quirk to help decide his future. But then. Did he really need a chosen path? He still had nothing to lose. But bakugo was the main reason why he had nothing to lose. Perhaps it was time karma caught up with bakugo. But why stop there? If Izuku was going this far he might as well become a villain so he can get revenge on hero society. While Izuku was thinking about all of this while trying to find somewhere to go. He soon found himself accidentally walking through what appeared to be a portal.
But on the other side was not what Izuku would have guessed. It turned out to be the base of the league of villains. A near perfect coincidence. Though Izuku was still on watch for the sludge villain. After that conversation with all might Izuku went home. He hadn't bothered to check the news to see if anything happened with the sludge villain. He knew the bottle containing the sludge villain fell from a hole in the pocket of the outfit all might happened to be wearing.
Izuku didn't check because he thought all might or some other hero had captured the sludge villain afterwards. But at the same time Izuku didn't know for certain if that happened. In the end though the sludge villain wasn't at the base of the league of villains. But what Izuku found instead was the villain known as all for one. However it seemed as though all for one was contemplating something. After a few seconds all for one spoke telepathically to Izuku.
All for one "Izuku . I apologize. I didn't intend on sending you to my base. At least not today. I also apologize for not visiting. If you want I can give you explanations for whatever questions you may have". Izuku didn't know what to think. But then he realized how much sense this made. His job overseas was mostlikely not real. A decent parent wouldn't want there children involved with villains without it at least being there choice. And the fire quirk was relatively easy to explain. All for one may have not visited or even sent gifts. But as the most powerful villain in Japan this could be excused.
It would have created a trail that could be followed and put him and inko in danger. His lack of attention was the best way he had to show he cared. Izuku then decided what to say. Izuku "this actually explains more than what I would have thought. As for my questions. For now I just want to know why your fake name was Hisashi midoriya and if I can join the league of villains". All for one "what a keen mind you have. I guess I don't have to explain as much as I thought. As for your questions. You can join the league if you really want to. However you will need some training so you can take on heroes. As for your other question. It actually is my name. It's been so long that basically nobody knows anymore. Because of that it's currently safe to use as an alias".
Izuku could tell this was going to be a good start for his life as a villain. And he already had a leg up on most heroes and villains. His father was one of the most powerful villains in Japan after all
