Chapter 1. Falling In Love

Paige was in after school working on her math  homework. Fernando was working on math. Elie was being a loud mouth. Ayvah was being a loud mouth as well. Helena was doing her work and Keira was acting like she was stupid. 

Paige POV

I was stuck on a math problem that I should have known I was not wanting to get a bad grade on this due to not getting homework done. Then I remembered that Fernando was sitting next to me so as my stupid ass self did I asked him.

"Fernando, can you help me with this math question?" I quietly asked.

Fernando took the math notebook and started doing the work. While he was doing so I worked on some other homework and within five minutes he was already done. He quietly said to himself.

"I don't know how I knew that" 

I kept Fernando's help and used it as an example when I needed help. When he did that for me my entire world stopped. I thought I fell in love at that very moment and to my surprise I actually did. After Fernando helped me I wrote a note to Elie my best friend gave it to Fernando to give to her he almost opened the note till I told him to give it to her. The note said.

"I think I'm falling for Fernando unexpectedly"

Elie looked at me with wide eyes and immediately wrote back. Fernando tried looking but we didn't let him. Elie was scolding me on liking him but I knew my feeling were real. Right after Mr Chrisman said we were going outside Elie grabbed me and almost yelled at me. She almost screamed saying who I liked till I shushed her.

"WHY HIM WHY OF ALL PEOPLE HIM?!" Elie screamed in confusion.

"Elie calm down I don't want anyone to find out so just message me your thoughts on Insta and then you can scream at me all you want." I responded in a calm manner.

Author POV 

After Paige got home as watched Instagram videos until Elite started blowing up her tablet.

"You gonna tell my why you chose Fernando?!" Elie messaged Paige but instead of texting they called

Paige POV

"You saw what he did for me in after school! How could you not fall for that!?" I yelled at her through my tablet. 

"PAIGE LEAL! YOU COULD HAVE CHOSEN ANYONE BUT YOU CHOSE HIM!" Screamed Elie through her phone.

"Elie you can't be talking you said you used to like him as well" I told her in a calm tone.

"LOWER YOUR VOICE!" yelled my mother.

"Sorry, my mother is being a bitch." I told her quietly. 

"When is your mother not?" Questioned Elie.

"Anyway, back to Fernando." I responded as I changed the topic.

"Paige, why Fernando?" Asked Elie.

"Wait, Paige likes Fernando?" Questioned Helena.

"Yes, Paige likes Fernando!" Screamed Elie.

"You know what look at the time I really should be getting to bed we will talk about this in the morning." I spoke before I got scolded by Elie.

Author POV

By the time Paige got to bed she couldn't stop thinking about how many times she was gonna get scolded by Elie. Finally, she put some music on and went straight to sleep. Waiting for what the next day would bring her.

THE NEXT MORNING

Paige POV

I woke up to my alarm (not really) looking at my Instagram. Looking at about sixty missed messages from Elie and Keiara. I groaned, got up and ate breakfast. I messaged them saying we will talk at school. I finished putting mascara on and I put on boot cut jeans, crop top, and Adidas shoes.

I put everything in my backpack, grabbed my water and looked at my messages. I quickly put on lip liner than Chapstick. Once I was in the car I messaged Elie and told her I was on my way. It was a little quicker of a car ride then I thought, but any car ride to school and back with my mom is a nightmare waiting to happen. Once I opened the car door, Elie was already waiting for me at the gate.

"Paige!" Elie shouted.

"Yes? My dear best friend?" I responded.

Then all the sudden I stopped in my tracks. Juan, Fernandos brother was looking straight at me. I asked Elie why he was looking at me like that but he came up to me before I could answer. Almost yelling at me he asked why the hell I like his brother. I answered calmly.

"Juan I will tell you all the reasons during lunch!" I told him.

He nodded and walked off with his cousin. I turned to Elie grabbed her and we started walking around our yard. As we were walking I was telling Elie the reasons why I like Fernando. 

"Whoa, he did something so nice." Spoke Elie. 

I laughed as she spoke in surprise. I watched Fernando play football constantly but I think he knew I watched him play. I didn't tell him yet that I liked him. I told his brother why I liked him but that was it.

 I was fixing the courage to tell him. It was time to go to bed, me and Elie were on a call talking about Fernando. 

Author POV

Paiges mother walked into the room telling her it was time to get off and go to bed. Paige got off and went to bed. During the middle of the night Paige had a nightmare. The nightmare ended up being about her ex crush Jeb. The dream was about Jeb and Fernando fighting about who deserved her more.

She started tossing and turning almost screaming in her sleep. She woke up to the dream at exactly 3:33 am the devils hour. She went to the kitchen to get water and clear her mind. She didn't know what this dream meant but what she did know is that she wouldn't like Jeb again. She read a book for a while and tried to fall asleep so she took a melatonin to sleep and put some music on.
