Calissa has been at CHB (camp half blood) since she was 6. She came alongside her brother, Luke Castellan, Annabeth, Thalia, and Grover, their Satyr.
She has always been competitive. Considering her brother is Luke Castellan, one of the best swordsmen at camp, she had a lot to compete with.
She had grew up without parental figures in her life so when she came to CHB she viewed Chiron differently than others. Almost like a father.
Calissa and Thalia had a very close bond, similar to siblings some would say. They would bicker and have disagreements but would always turn back to each other. When Thalia sacrificed herself this took a very big impact on her
