December 6th, 3013,
Life hadn't always been this way. Angels never set foot on our planet. The virus wasn't contagious. And most importantly, the aliens didn't make our world their mining grounds. They arrived on October 20th, the day of a solar eclipse. Their ship has been visible months prior, but the kingdoms stayed silent about their presence.
The Titans never said anything about it, nothing stirred in the mines when they showed up. There was no connections between our world and their ship. Yet they still came. When they did, the virus grew at rapid rates. Before it was just a simple disease, patients would grow black scales and slime over their limbs that could be burned off or eventually they'd cough out the virus. Calling it a virus helps to title it, truthfully we don't know what it is. It itself is like an alien, but it came from our planet so we can't call it that.
When the virus grew, our planet changed. The animals reacted, some deformed to monsters and other grew past their normal sizes. Nests were made of the earth, the Towering Forest became a breeding ground of the insects and other woodland creatures. Humans no longer could survive the virus and instead transformed into... Something else. Slowly, the world grew without humans. The alien ship connected to the planet, a Towering city reaching up to the stars where the four kingdoms met. We only saw glimpses of the aliens, I was just a mine worker at the time I wasn't allowed near them.
Then the Titans disappeared. The one who were like gods to us and we looked up to. That's why I went into the mining field, so I could uncover their artifacts and tools hidden beneath the rock. Almost all of them were. . .Frozen. Unresponsive. Some vanished without a trace, only the few remaining on our planet give us a slimmer of hope. We thought maybe the Titans would be able to get rid of the aliens.
But now what can the little bit of humanity remaining do? I fear the aliens will suck our planet dry, without even saying a word to us. I don't trust the city they've planted between the kingdoms, I wouldn't dare set a foot in it. Others are more trusting, I haven't seen some of my friends again since they've ventured to the kingdoms. Maybe it's a paradise and they never want to leave. Maybe they're no longer.
I'm not the one to find the truth. I'm just a simple mine worker, I'll spend the rest of my days uncovering the remaining artifacts from the Titans. Before our planet is doomed.-Jamie

Plagued by aliens, their mothership attached to their planet, extracting what the inhabitants believed to be the life of their planet. Curious and cautious of the aliens, they would grow accustomed to life with the looming ship over them. Some gave in to their curiosity and moved into the city that connected them. Both a machine and a city. Those who gave in weren't ever seen again, but nobody seemed scared when they decided to live in the alien building.
Life could never be normal, it was constantly changing. The virus led to the near extinction of pure humans, the humanity before changed to something superior. As long as they kept their minds, they could grow as a society into something equal to the aliens. The only ones who could've been said to be equal to them, were the Titans. They were almost considered gods to humanity but when the arrival of the ship connected the two, they disappeared. Leaving behind their buildings, artifacts, and weapons within the planet. But after the disappearance of the Titans, angels began to step in. That's what they were called atleast. Majestic beings capable of warping reality and causing horrifying illusions. Were they to be trusted or to be considered a threat?
Marcus industries hoped to investigate the turnabouts from the virus. Trying to separate host from virus. The founder, Earl Marcus opened three labs across the plains, dedicated to studying the virus and those who succumbed to it. He, himself ,was considered a pure human, keeping locked away from society in his labs. He kept a collection of subjects within his main lab, the other two dedicated to artifacts and the alien technology found from the mothership. The four kingdoms trusted Earl Marcus, as a scientist and as a human. He was a mad man at heart, that was only revealed later on which led to the downfall of his main lab.
