AFTER THEIR DAY OF THRIFTING, jules, nick, and sophia decided to get some dinner together at a little diner in the plaza they currently were in. the place was a little more than walking distance from the thrift store they were just shopping at. they had debated driving because it started to get dark out, with the exception of street lamps at every ten feet. then ended up walking anyways because there was no way they were going to find another parking spot with how crowded it was.
it was all fun and games for them until jules started to feel sick on the walk over there and assumed she got some kind of food poisoning from what she had for lunch earlier. she felt nauseous and she was starting to get a really bad headache. she didn't want to risk possibly throwing up in sophia's car, so she had texted matt to come and pick them up instead.
"i'm sorry this had to end so early," jules told sophia as she checked matt's location once again. he was now five minutes away. which was three minutes less than it was the last time she had checked.
