The next day I woke up in the couch laying next to Jess. We must have falling asleep while watching the hunger games trilogy. I looked around me and saw Jess still asleep beside me.
I got up quietly making my upstairs to my bedroom. We haven't been up here, so it was clean. I saw my phone on my bed. I picked it up and saw 5 messages from my dad.
Dad
Dad Hi Nova, I just wanted to let you Know that your mother broke her Arm but she's alright.
Dad Hello? Nova are you okay Are you awake.
Dad I know you don't want to hear About you mother but Please she wants to see you.
Dad Nova please answer me.
Me Tell her I wont see her.

I dropped my phone and it landed on the bed. I sighed. Dad knows why would he want me to see her. I didn't want anything to do with my mother. She is horrible.
"Nova?" Jess asked me. She was standing in the corner of my room. "Yes?" She looked at me with sorrow in her eyes and pointed to the stairs. I looked at her confused.
I went downstairs and saw them standing in my hallway. "Get out." I told them. "Please Nova" my dad said. "No, why would you bring her? You know what she did" I told my dad. Doesn't he know better?
"Nova. I want to talk" my mother said. "Well I don't" I told her avoiding eye contact. "Get out before I call the police" Jess told my mother. Unexpected but it worked. My mother and father sighed.
They headed for the door. Putting in their shoes. Just when they're were about to leave I told my mom "don't ever come here again" she nodded and her and my father got out.
"I'm sorry Nova, I didn't know it was them." I know Jess, she wouldn't let them in if she saw it was them. "I know, and thank you" I told her. She and my father was the only ones that knew about me and my mom.
