Camille sighed in relief as the last customer went out the door. Her feet were aching and her head was throbbing, she rubbed her temples a little to ease the headache. Andy her co-worker was finishing cleaning the blenders. "Girl I'm sooo over this day, all I'm going to do is go home-take a long ass shower, eat and have a marathon of that hunk of a man called McSteamy." Andy sighed dreamily.

Despite the headache she was feeling, Camille laughed at her friend's words. What she would give to have one of those nights, however she knew she couldn't-she had another job to look after. Not to mention that she had to go home, feed Jace and them drop him at her neighbor's Mrs.Katski. "I wish I could do the same as you Andy, but as you know I have a little one to take after."

She sighed defeated, sometimes Camille would wish she had a normal life- you know like have friends, go to college maybe even date here and there. But she knew her life was far from normal, Andy stopped what he was doing and looked towards sympathetically.

His grey looking at her with sympathy. "Is your mom still giving you trouble?" He asked, from all of her co-workers Andy was the only that knew or understood her situation at home.

His father had walked out after he found out that his mother was pregnant. Then at the age of thirteen he lost his mom to cirrhosis, due to all the drinking she had been doing throughout the years. He then lived with a foster family who later kicked him out for being gay. Since then he has lived on his own and worked. Just as her he had to drop out of high school, if there was one who understood it was him.

Camille shrugged, "Same 'ol, same 'ol" she mumbled and Andy sighed.

Both stayed quiet mainly because Andy didn't want to pry in her business and other because Camille didn't dare to tell him, that her mother had come home drunk on her ass and high as kite.

Jace had being playing with his car toy when she walked. Just as she stumbled in, Jace tensed and stopped any noise or movement he had being doing, he knew better than anyone not to dare even breath a his mommy walked in. It was really sad that a five year old had to stop playing only because his mommy was drunk on her ass.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" Katy sneered. She stumbled with her feet as he neared the child that resemble him the most. As a mother she knew that she shouldn't resent or hate her own child, but how could she not? She would see Jace there and her blood would boil in anger.

The young child was petrified, he didn't know what to do. He didn't know on wether to run from his mother or stay where he was. Even though he loved his mommy, he knew that she was mean. She always say mean thing to his sissy which would make her cry. He hated when she did that, because his sissy was a good sissy.

She gave him food when he was hungry, she would play with him, she even watched cartoons with him even though she was older. His sissy was everything to him.

"What are you doing you little brat?" His mother asked him, but he refused to answer.

Last time he did his mommy had grabbed his wrist and bruised it. She also had slapped him, she was about to do it again when his sissy defended him.

They both started screaming a each other and his mommy had pushed his sissy to the floor. While falling she hit her head on the table, leaving her bloody and unconcious.

"Sissy!" He cried and quickly scrambled to his feet.

Jace shook his unconscious sister, but it didn't seem to work. Tears were running down his chubby and rosy cheeks. "Please don't leave me!" He cried out which cause his mother to snap her attention to him.

All drunk effect lowered down as she realized what she had done. "Oh god, Camille." Katy said as she dropped to her knees.

Before she could reach Camille, Jace yelled. "Don't touch her! You're a mean mommy! You're a mean mommy!" He said as he protectively stood by Camille's side.
