Angelina

Angelo hadn't informed me about the request I made, and I'm starting to think that he actually had to ask Nicolas if I'm allowed to.

It's a small request, it's not like I can jump over the gate or something, I'm not a parkour expert either, and I'll tell Nicolas exactly that if he says no.

Despite the fact they kidnapped me, I should be allowed to do certain stuff.

"Angelina." A voice broke me out of my thoughts.

I was so caught up about this whole situation that I hadn't even hear the bedroom door open.

Sitting up against the headboard I saw Ivan standing in the doorway.

"Hey?" I asked confused why he was here.

Is he here about the request I made?

I hope.

"Hey, Nicolas demanded that you'll be down for dinner tonight, he has some... stuff, to discuss with you." He said doubtful.

Me?

"Okay." I said almost immediately.

Maybe he wants to talk about what I need to help with.

I mean having me here and not having to do anything is a waste of everyone's time.

"And that thing you asked for." He started then paused, "don't expect it. It's Nicolas choice."

Was all he said before closing the door.

I knew it. Of course it was his choice. Why wouldn't it be.

Maybe if I explain why then he'll- no- I can't explain why, I haven't told anyone not even my sister.

This is going to be hard.

~~~
We were all sitting at the table. Damien and Nicolas were talking in Russian, Ivan and Angelo were talking and Levi was on his phone. I was sitting there doing nothing, I would eat the food that was served, if it wasn't tomato soup. I'm allergic to tomatoes so I'm just sitting here watching everyone.
My attention turned to Nicolas who was on the other side of the table.
He had heterochromia eyes, one green with specks of grey and the other hazelish mixed with green as I noticed the first time I saw him.
Tonight he wore a suit which were rolled up exposing his tattooed covered arms and muscles that flexed through his shirt.
He had curly dark hair and a perfect clear face, that glowed.
I hate to admit but he was good looking. Wait. Not 'good looking' he was handsome very handsome.
Seeing him now in bright light makes his eyes look more beautiful than it already are.
As if he can sense I was staring he turned his head and his eyes found mine right away. His stare sent a shiver down my spine, but I didn't look away. Only when he tilted his head slightly still holding eye contact, did I look away.
I felt like I was playing a game with the devil himself.
"I assume you've gotten more aware or your surroundings." Nicolas spoke, in his rich Russian accent.
The whole table became quite.
"Yes."
No. As soon as Angelo and I reached back in the house, I went straight to my room.
The only rooms I actually know existed was Nicolas office and my room.
"Right," he spoke again, "Here are some rules you follow when your here." He said resting his spoon carefully at the side of his bowl.
Of course I have rules to follow. Like I was the one who reluctantly agreed to be here.
"Number one. You don't go into any room but yours, you stay out of my office, my bedroom and any one of the guys room."
My heart begged me to say 'what about the living room' but I'll rather live to see tomorrow.
"Number two. You don't get to go outside under any circumstances, the only way you will make it out this house is if your with one of the guys or me. Example. If theirs an event we all have to attend and no guards are available, you will be with one of us."
"But-" I started but didn't finish because he cut me off by saying, "Number three."
"Whatever I say goes. If I say jump off the roof of this house, you do it." He said coldly.
I watched him mouth slightly open in shock.
"But of course, that was just an example but I think you got the point. Don't you?"
I couldn't talk, so I just gave him a nod.
"You have a smart mouth Angelina, use it. So I'll ask again. Do you get my point?" He asked again.
This time I answered, my voice soft and low, "Yes."
"Great, well that's all." He replied, his voice sending a shiver down my spine, "Oh. Before I forget, no you can't go out at 8:43. I think I made that clear in rule two."
