Nicolas had showed me 'our' room. I was shocked as well when he said we'd both be sleeping in the same room, but if I'm completely honest I don't mind, I'd love to sleep in the same bed as him, I've done it before haven't I.

He left me a few minutes ago to do an online meeting in his office. I didn't want to disturb him so I was reading the book I'd bought with me. Well technically Nicolas went back to grab it for me since he didn't want me to walk through the house.

I was still reading Pride and Prejudice,

"If you will thank me," he replied, "let it be for yourself alone. That the wish of giving happiness to you might add force to the other inducements which led me on, I shall not attempt to deny. But your family owe me nothing. Much as I respect them, I believe I thought only of you."
Elizabeth was too much embarrassed to say a word. After a short pause, her companion added, "You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you will silence me on this subject forever."
Elizabeth, feeling all the more than common awkwardness and anxiety of his situation, now forced herself to speak; and immediately, though not very fluently, gave him to understand that her sentiments had undergone so material a change, since the period to which he alluded, as to make her receive with gratitude and pleasure his present assurances. -The happiness which this reply produced, was such as he had probably never felt before; and he expressed himself on the occasion as sensibly and as warmly as a man violently in love can be supposed to do.

If I could live in a book, I'd be this one. It's like stepping into a world of love and enchantment. With each turn of the page, I'm transported to a realm where passion and romance come alive.

I can feel my heart flutter as the love story unfolds, experiencing the highs and lows right alongside the characters. The tender moments make me smile, while the intense ones make my heart race. It's a beautiful escape from reality, a chance to experience love in all its forms. The happiness I feel while reading this book is like a warm embrace.

It's been almost two hours since I last saw Nicolas, he hadn't left his office since he'd went in.

So I decided to go check on him, hopefully he was finished with his meeting.

As I made it outside his office door, I knocked before entering. I didn't have to worry about waiting for a reply since I knew we were the only ones here.

When I walked in, I saw him sitting at his desk with his computer still opened.

Was he still in the meeting? I wasn't hearing any talking so I don't think so.
