Jason's pov
The show in Memphis just let out and I am exhausted but now the bus has broken down ad it won't be until tomorrow that we can get back on the road. I head to the local bar to get a drink.

I am so done with boys. I'm done with them lying and cheating. They're all the same. They're not with you because they love you, they're in it for sex. So from now on this girl is going solo. I get another shot of whiskey. That's when a Blake Shelton song neon light is in my head. 'I'll take a shot of I don't care what you're doin' now. Chase that one with a cold screw you, cried and dried these tears I don't know how much more missin' you I can take' my head's about buzzed so I should probably stop drinking. I pay and turn to leave when a guy walks into the bar. It's country star Jason Aldean. He sits at the bar right beside me and orders a beer. I try to hide the fact that I'm a fan. "Hey, come here often?" I ask. He laughs. "Naw, first time here actually." He says. "In Memphis or this bar?" I joke. He smiles. "This bar." He says, and turns around in his seat to watch football on the TV. I do the same. "I wish I could watch a bulldog's game right now." I say, knowing he's a huge bulldog's fan." He looks over at me. "You're a Georgia bulldogs fan too?" He asks. "Of course they're the greatest team ever in my book." I reply, kicking back. "I guess we'll have to settle for these guys." I mutter, waving my hand at the TV. He smiles. "It's very rare I meet a bulldogs fan other than a Georgia native." He says. "How do you know I'm not?" I joke. He raises a brow and looks like he's trying to think. "Nah, ya can't be. I can tell." He replies, rubbing his chin thinking hard. I try not to laugh. "You're good. I'm not from Georgia. I'm from Oxford." I reply, standing up. It was awesome talking to him. "I better be getting home, I enjoyed our chat." I say, heading for the door. "Wait. You're drunk, you can't drive drunk." He says, stopping me. I didn't say I was driving. I would rather not get mixed up with another guy, especially if he ends up breaking my heart again. The song a guy walks into a bar comes to mind. But I let him drive me home anyway. When we pull up into my drive. "How long are you staying in town?" I ask. He sighs. "Until my bus is fixed." He says. "My step dad can help you. He's real good with cars!" I say. He nods and I give him the number. Under my step dad's number I give mine with my name. Beside it I wrote call me later? I quickly disappear into the house.

Whoa I think that girl just asked me out! Technically. She at least gave me her digits. I wonder if she's a fan. She didn't act like I was a famous person to her or maybe she's just a really good actress. A hot non native Georgia bulldogs fan. She's definitely someone to look into calling.
Miranda's pov
Oh my God!!!! What is wrong with me!?! Why did I give him my number? I swore off my boys! I must've been too drunk to think about it. He probably gets that all the time and won't look into it. I hope. I mean he's awesome and all but I swore I wouldn't date anymore. I'd focus more on my college courses. Then my phone rings making me jump. I glance out the window. He's still in my driveway and his phone is to his ear! Is this him?! I answer it. "Hello?" I ask. "Hey, I wanted to see if ya want to go out for lunch tomorrow you know while your step dad is fixin' my bus?" He asks. It is him!! What should I say? What should I do? "Um, s-sure." I stammer. "Oh, one other question, are you a country music fan?" He asks. I smile. I'm about to admit that I'm a huge fan. "Oh yeah, I live, breathe, and sleep country. I don't listen to much else. If you can see by the CDs in my truck." I hint. "Oh yeah, I forgot this was your truck!" He gasps, laughing.

I don't want to be a snoop but I wanna see if she's a fan. I glance at her overflowing amount of CDs. A smile comes to my face when I see every single record of mine on top. "Who's your favorite artist?" I ask. "I don't know if you know him. He likes to wear torn wranglers and a cowboy hat. With number one hits like why, big green tractor, take a little ride." She says and I can hear a hint of a smile playing on her face. "Yeah, I think I've heard of him." I reply, trying not to laugh. "Well, lunch tomorrow, I'll see ya then." She says. "All right." I say, hanging up. I hear scream inside and see her jumping up and down through the window. This time I do laugh and she looks out the window and waves. I wave back. She motions for me to come inside so I do. "Ya can't sleep out in that truck." She says smiling. I nod and mumble a thanks.
Miranda's pov
It's not a date. We're going out to lunch. My step dad will fix his bus then he'll go back to his tour and forget he ever even met me. It's better that way. I go to my bedroom and he sleeps on the couch.
