Humanity [Twilight]

One

As the plane landed at the airport in Port Angeles the two Swan siblings were thinking two very similar yet different things. Bella Swan was thinking how much she didn't want to be there. There as in Forks Washington with her father. Theodore was thinking about how much he just wanted to get out the airport and the airport smelling clothes and how nice it would be to see his father again.
When his parents Charlie and Renee had gotten divorced Bella had chosen to go with Renee as she always seemed to have a disconnect with their dad, Theodore had chosen to go with her as he felt the need to protect her, his "right" as her older brother. Renee wants to follow her boyfriend around the country as he extends his career, and while Bella was encouraging her to follow him Theodore found it ridiculous that she made them basically be the adults their whole childhood and was now quite literally ditching them.
As Theodore and Bella exit the airport they look around for their dad, Theodore spots the Police car first and starts walking and as soon as he reached the car he put down his bag and awkwardly hugged his dad which was followed by awkward greetings from Bella.

As they got to the house nestled nicely in the neighborhood of the small town Theodore ran inside to his room with all his luggage. His room hasn't changed much since his last visit the photos above his desk was the same, the bookshelves filled with books that lined the walls and the two beanbag chairs in the corner with a rug underneath to create a reading corner.
The only thing that was different was the bed which has been changed from a twin to a queen.
He slowly started unpacking putting each thing into its designated place, just as he finished this process his dad came to knock on his door, to announce the arrival of his friend and his son.
Now Theodore has never has a problem with Billy but his son Jacob had always had a weird thing for his sister and it kind of freaked him out, and now that they were older he only assumed that it would be getting worse.
He went outside to great them to discover that bella has been gifted a rusty looking truck for a homecoming gift. Now personally he thought that it was ugly but she seemed very happy with it. Billy greeted him like a friend while Jacob stood there grouchily in his early teenager way.
"we got you something too" Billy said while making Jacob pull some thing out of the back of the truck Bella had recently acquired. it was a metal frame that slightly resembled a motorcycle, it was a good brand he judged from the frame and was in good condition, well good condition for the fact that it was basically a folded piece of metal.
"we figured with your ability to build things you'd prefer to have a project." Said his dad. He didn't mention how Theodore refused to drive after the accident.
"I really do thank you"
The evening went on and ended in Theodore finally washing the airport stench off him and watching the game on the TV with his dad. While Bella was already in her room withering away in "peace" he was on the couch finally spending time with his dad while avoiding thinking about his first day at Forks High tomorrow morning.
