Four

Bella was in a car crash.
Her second week of school and she already got into an accident. Theodore was allowed in the ambulance with Bella on the way to the hospital after some arguing, as soon as they arrived bella was rushed away but after a few minutes he was able to see her. she was relaxed and seemed unfazed for the most part. She wasn't allowed to sit up because she hit her head but other than that she was perfectly fine, or so she claimed.
As soon as charlie got there he went right to her and inspected her, she was deemed well enough by him to have him stop pestering her but he stayed there worried.
Charlie turned to the boy next to Bella and told him that he had lost his license. The boy looked familiar to Theodore he assumed he has some classes with the boy.
That's when the Doctor came in announcing himself by saying "I heard the Chief's daughter was in"
"Dr. Cullen" The teens father greeted. So this was the guy their father talked about with such appreciation.
"So Isabella, your head seems to be fine" the doctor said after looking into her eyes and inspecting her head.
"Just Bella"
"I apologize Bella, you should be able to go home soon."
Once Theodore heard the news that his sister would be fine he headed out of the room full of people to find a vending machine that had some form of caffeine. As he walked out of the room he heard the boy start apologizing for almost hitting Bella and then he heard a curtain quickly close, they boy stopped talking after that so Theodore assumed that it was his fathers doing and was very amused by his actions.

Theodore located a vending machine rather quickly and put in the money for a coffee. He heard whispering around the corner, the voices seemed to be arguing about something  family related something about a secret. He was trying to mind his own business and tune them out until the people mentioned his sister and that's when he started paying attention.
"You put us all in danger doing something reckless like that" a familiar voice said.
Another voice replied "Let's take this to my office" that voice sounded like the doctor from earlier, who he thought seemed to have some reason.
Theodore walked back into the room where his sister and father were. He walked up to his father and handed him one of the two coffees he bought.
"Thanks Theo" his dad said. "We can go home now, other than the fact that her head had a bit of a bump she should be fine now"
Theodore nodded in appreciation to his father for the good news, and even though his face didn't show it he was very relieved that bella was okay.

Bella went to her room at their dads request to rest a bit and call her mother as Charlie had told Renee. While Bella did that he and his father made dinner. I was a simple pasta dish with homemade meatballs, it really could have been done by one person but the two guys took comfort in each other knowing that Bella was okay.
When the food was ready Theodore only ate the pasta and when Charlie question it he replied that he was a vegetarian. This took Charlie by surprise, not because he wasn't aware but when the kids decided to come live with him Renee had told him that he no longer was a vegetarian and that he would eat the meat if he gave it to him. The fact that Charlie had forgotten was very surprising to Theodore as he was always very supportive of it and made him dishes with substitutions whenever he visited. He came to the realization that Renee had something to do with this as she was always weary on his chosen diet.
The dinner became awkward after that but as Bella cleared the dishes Theodore sat in the living room with Charlie discussing the game that was on the TV. Theodore didn't really know much about sports but he knew how much it meant to his dad and with how Bella had been acting towards him Theodore knew it was important to be spending time with his dad in that moment.
