In the Monastery of Spinjitzu we see Sensei Wu meditating in one room while he hears his four newest students making combat sounds in another room. "Fire Strike! Oh my gosh, is that not like the coolest move you've ever seen!" Kai said. "Stop trying to do it yourself!" Cole said, "We need to attack as a team!" Wu goes to the training room to find that only his youngest (and secretly favourite) pupil, 10 year old Ophelia Chen, a direct descendant of the Master Of Amber who had been left on his doorstep as a baby, was training with the elemental abilities she had gained from her new teammates along with practising her spinjitzu. "Ophelia, I am pleased to see you at least taking your training seriously," Sensei Wu said as Ophelia was raising stone pillars from the ground, before freezing and shattering them. "Thank you Wu, I just wish the others would stop fooling around," she said with a sigh, "Do they not realise Garmadon will eventually return for the Weapons of Spinjitzu?" "I fear they have simply grown complacent with the peaceful times," Wu said with a sigh, "though it makes me question if they will ever unlock their true potential." "I'm sure in time they will Wu," Ophelia said calmly, "perhaps a long time, but in time, if they learn not to put off until tomorrow what can be done today." "Indeed," Wu said with a smile, "You have grown wise these past years. Come, let us explain that lesson to the ninja now."

Saying this Wu headed back inside the monastery to where he found the four ninja, Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane eating junk food and playing video games. "Fantastic, I'm out of lives!" Jay says. "But the lesson lives on!" Zane says with a laugh, "Hee-yah!" "Ok, now!" Cole shouted. As the ninja continue with their game Ophelia sighs in the corner, shaking her head in disappointment, as Wu unplugs the video game, causing the ninja to groan. "Aw man..." Cole whined. "What happened?" Jay asked, annoyed, "It took us three hours to get there!" "Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he will not one day return for the weapons of spinjitzu!" Wu said in disappointment, "All of you should be training to be ready for this threat, yet I find only Ophelia actually putting in the effort to practise!" "But Sensei Wu ever since he has been gone, Ninjago has had nothing but peace," Zane stated. "Yeah there's nothing to do, no one to save, peace is boring," Jay commented. "We can train tomorrow," Cole said lazily. "Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today," Ophelia told the older ninja. "Well I was going to eat this pizza tomorrow, so if that's the case..." Cole said reaching for the pizza only to have it knocked away by Sensei Wu. "No pizza for you!" Wu scolded. "In order to reach your true potential like I have you must train," Ophelia stated. "One, who asked you kid," Kai said rudely, angering Wu, "Also remember that thing we did called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty insane." "Do not talk to Ophelia or any of your teammates that way!" Wu snapped. "Also Kai, you four have only scratched the surface of your true potential." Ophelia said calmly, ignoring Kai's taunt, "There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into the power the golden weapons hold." "Ophelia is correct," Wu said, "None of you are close to reaching your true potential." Kai's sword is seen burning a slice of pizza in the background.

"You wanna talk secrets?" Cole asked rhetorically, "Check this out." Saying this he used his scythe to plug the video game back in as the ninja go back to playing, Ophelia shaking her head in frustration. "Foolishness," she whispered to Wu, "They need to learn to listen to their teachers." Wu nodded in agreement. "Don't worry master," Zane said, "We will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns." Suddenly Nya runs in saying, "Guys, Lord Garmadon was just spotted approaching Jamanaki Village! The people need help! Hurry!" The ninja then struggle to prepare for the mission Nya having to hand Jay his nunchucks before they race off to the dragon stables, Zane getting hit by the door of one stable, Jay missing his dragon when he tried to jump on it and Kay needing his sisters help to reach the reins of his dragon before they headed off to save Jamanaki Village. "Will they ever reach their full potential?" Nya questioned, tired of the ninja's antics. "I asked that myself this morning," Wu admitted, "But Ophelia was correct, they will in time, perhaps a long time, but in time." "Well, if we are done here, may I return to training Sensei?" Ophelia asked. "Of course," Wu said, before sighing and shaking his head before saying to Nya, "I just wish the other ninja were so diligent in their training," before walking back into the monastery.
