As soon as I got there, I noticed Kevin sitting on the bench waiting for me. I walked up to him and said, "Hey, sorry for coming a little late". "it's fine, don't worry about it" Kevin said smiling at me... "So what excuse did you make up so that Carolina wouldn't follow you?" I said... "I told her that I'm going to the gym to work out and relax." "Oh okay" I said... "So, what was it that you wanted to talk about?" Kevin said staring into my eyes "Well, I just wanted to talk about what we were talking about earlier..." I said
"Oh..." he said, looking away. "I am curious as to why you did it. You knew what I was doing before coming in." I said looking at him... he stayed silent "Kevin, I'm trying to talk to you. Stop avoiding the question." I said
After that, Kevin looked at me "I'll let you know, but it's likely going to cause our friendship to end." Kevin said
"Okay, go ahead. I'm listening." I said "When Carolina told me everything, I felt jealous. I still have feelings for you Y/n..." Kevin said
I then stayed silent. I was surprised when I heard that Kevin still liked me. "You still like me?", I said nervously.
"Yes, I remember when you and Diego started dating. I remember how hurt I was when I found out, but I tried my best to be supportive of you both. I always felt like we were meant to be together and that you would eventually see it too. But now, I see that things are serious between you two and I admit, that hurts me." He said
"Why didn't you make a move then? You had your chance because I liked you too before I started dating Diego." I said
"I did Y/n!! but you started spending more time with Diego and how much more you talked to him than me. It felt like you were starting to drift away from me and become closer to him. It hurt me to see you spend so much time together while I felt like I was being pushed aside." He said
I sighed "You could have had your chance when Gavi and I broke up too." I said "If you still have feelings for me, then why are you with Carolina?" I said
"Because I was dumb, I don't know what I was thinking, but all I knew was that I wanted you... but I was going to break up with Carolina but she just randomly told me she's pregnant." He said
"I want to be honest with you and I am going to tell you something I've been avoiding for a long time." I said getting nervous "What is it?" He said
"I am attracted to both of you and I don't know how I ended up with feelings for two different people at the same time." I said looking away
"You like me and diego?" He said surprised "Yes I do. There is something about you both that draws me in and makes me feel like this isn't just a coincidence." I said
"I wanted to try things with you, but I guess I should've done it sooner when I had a chance. Now it is too late because you ended up getting Carolina pregnant" I said
"I wish that we had talked about this sooner and taken things further earlier before it was too late. Now I don't know what to do because Carolina is pregnant and I can't just leave her but I still love you Y/n! and I want to be with you in some way." He said
"I think that it's best if we go our own separate ways now that Carolina is pregnant..." I said getting up
"If that's what you want i respect it." He said
"Yeah, that's pretty much it. I just wanted to get this off my chest" I said giving him a small smile
I then pulled him in for a hug
"I hope the best for you and your baby." I said tearing up
"Ty Y/n" he said sighing
I then leaned in closer to him going in for a kiss
Our lips caress each other softly and subtly. Our bodies press up against each other in a gentle embrace. Our tongues explore each other's mouths with a gentle curiosity.
This moment between us feels so intimate and so safe, like nothing else in the world matters but us and our connection right now. I don't want this moment to end right now, I want to stay here a little longer and take in the comforting warmth that only comes from holding each other and being so physically close.
I then broke the kiss "I have to go now" I said "Alright" he said. I walked away wanting to cry but I had to try and hold it in because Memo would start questioning me
Once I got home Memo started questioning me "I thought you had to go and get stuff from the store?" He said "Yeah I was but I forgot that the stores are all closed today that's why I didn't come home with bags in my hand..." I said walking to my room
I opened the door walking inside my room. Diego was there waiting for me
"Where did you go?" He said getting up from my bed "Oh I was gonna go to a store but I forgot that there all closed" I said
"Oh" he said walking up to me to kiss me "Diego I'm not in the mood please leave" I said taking my jacket off
"You seem off are you alright?" He said "Yeah I just need to be alone rn" I said "Alr I'll leave but I still want to talk to you about the bathroom situation"
"Diego, I already told you that nothing happened between us. If you don't want to believe me, then that's your problem. Please leave." I said
Diego walked out of my room not saying anything closing my door
I changed into some pjs going to bed...
