Liz just finished her first ever major case. Although it was a complex one, she was able to perform excellently. The surgeon gave her a pat in the back for a job well done. "Nurse Liz, you have great potential. No doubt, you'll be one of the great nurses." He said proudly. "Thank you sir." she replied. Liz was then told by her nurse mentor to go for her one hour lunch break and return to do her paperworks.

Liz was over the moon due to the praise she received. She hurried to the staff changing room, took out her phone and dialled her mother's number. She wants to tell her about her achievement today. Her mom is a nurse too. She is a matron for nurses in a different hospital. The phone just rang, there was no answer. "She must be busy, i'll just call her later when I get home." said Liz.

Liz likes to sit out in the hospital ground facing the Big Ben during her break. She enjoys the view. On her way there, she opened the message she received from Greg. She replied saying, "Hi Greg, sorry I wasn't able to reply promptly, I was on my way to my internship and was running late. Also, I was reading my notes. Of course I remember you. Although, to be honest, I had to stalk your profile to make sure you are who I think you are. LOL. How are you anyway?". She pressed send. She reached her favourite spot, sat down and had her lunch.

Greg just came out of the shower. Before changing, he grabbed his phone and checked. He got so excited to see one message received from Liz. "Oh my God, she replied." he said. He opened the message and read it. He then replied, "Hi Liz, it's okay. I'm good, still alive." He deleted the message he wrote. "Why on earth am I struggling to reply to this message? She is only asking how I am. Ugh. Okay let's try again." He wrote, "Hi Liz, I'm doing great. It's nice of you to respond to my message. It's been a long time since we spoke, what are you up to these days?" He pressed send. In a matter of seconds, the message was marked read and Liz is "typing...". Greg hurriedly placed the phone on his bed and got changed into his pyjamas.

"Hey, I'm also doing good. I am currently studying nursing. I'm actually on my second year. One more year and I'll be a REAL nurse. LOL. What about you? I know right, it's been a long time. And also, where are you now? Before we left for the UK ten years ago, you just vanished. What happened to you? Good to know you're still alive! LOL" Liz wrote.

Greg replied, "I'm taking up engineering. The same as you, I only need four months and I'll be a REAL engineer too. You know what, I'm really sorry I disappeared ten years ago without even saying goodbye. We had to move to the city and it's a long story. I don't want to bore you." Sent!

"I see, there is a lot of catching up we need to do then. HAHA. Anyway, I have to go back to the hospital now to finish my mandatory paperworks. Only then will I be allowed to go home. We can chat later, if you're still awake by then." Liz replied.

"Sure. I'll try and wait for you. It's already 09:00pm here, I'll do a little bit of studying before retiring to bed. I have an exam tomorrow, so I have to rest early as well. Take care, and just ping me whenever you're not so busy anymore. Otherwise, we can chat tomorrow night as it's Friday, no classes on the weekend. I can stay up late as I like." Greg explained.

"No worries, we will see how it goes today, otherwise tomorrow, a scheduled catching up! Take care." Liz replied. She then got up and went back to the hospital.
