"Maybe we should head back down stairs." I told Luke as we laid on top of his bed.

" Okay... So does this mean we're dating now?" Luke asked me and I didn't have a answer for it yet.

" I don't know. What do you think ?" I asked.

" I think we should and see what happens." Luke smiles at me and I swear I thought my mouth dropped. I can't believe he was smiling at me. Ugh and I sound like a school girl from Grease but I don't care.

I wonder what Oliver will think. Wait will that make me a Thot or Shrank because I'm dating my best friend - friend ? Probably not and besides me and Oliver never dated. So it can't be bad. Plus I saw him dancing with someone but maybe he was just being nice.

"Okay come on." Luke says as we walked out of his room interrupting my thoughts.

The music begin to vibrate my ears and body. I loved that feeling. I felt so free and fearless.

We begun to danced to whatever song that was playing. Years ago I like to dance in huge crowds so no one can see me.Now I don't care about who's watching or if I get lost in the crowd. In these moments I'm weightless.

I lost sight of Luke so I decided to sit down at one of the red lace table cloth tables - I had to admit I was very tired.

Minutes had pass and I've still haven't seen Luke or Oliver. I'm the type of person who secretly over reacts and over think things,so not seeing either of them makes me kinda of sad. I took out my phone and dial Luke number - he didn't answer. It was 11 at night and Luke house was still crowded.

"Hi !" A girl dressed in a slutty maid costume says to me.

"Hey what's up !" I yelled over the music to her.

"Is this seat taken ? " She asked.

" No I'm alone."

"I would have thought you would be with Luke."

" You know Luke ? He told me he hardly knows anyone here they just come."

" He's my step brother." she tells me. "My dad he - Hey do you want to go on the patio so we can hear each other ?"

"Sure." I said and she lead the way.

They were many people outside too , swimming inside the pool ,smoking pot beside trees. We found a spot at a patio table. The music from inside was still distinctive - I could still hear it even though we were outside.

" Okay now that we have a seat I can finish what I was saying... What was I saying, right about Luke and my father. Before my father left us he was very abusive towards me and mother.It become so bad that if we tried to leave he would blame me and hit my mother. The neighbors from next door heard me screamed one day and that was all it took. My father left us in a heart beat and didn't look back, I never saw him again. So years later my beautiful mom met Luke's dad and got marry 8 months later... I don't know why I told you that. I usually don't like to talk about it or anything sad and that matter. I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable and anyway people don't like hearing things like this."

I can't believe I let her finish her sob story - usually I wouldn't be able to bear it, but she seem so broken when I look at her I felt like I saw myself in her.

"No you didn't scare me. It's good that you and your mother are free from your father. I can't imagine what I would have done if I was in your shoes. I'm Blake by the way." And her eyes literally grew wider.
