“Mayora, do you think na mas maganda kung sky blue ang color nang banner natin?” my classmate said. Agad akong napaisip, maganda naman ’yon, it’s also my favorite color.
“True, kasi ’diba yellow sana ’yung sa’tin kaso yellow pala ’yung sa STEM” Kaia said. Napatango naman ako sa sinabi niya. We are currently having a meeting about sa Foundation Day. Dapat kasi each grade level, strand, at section ay may booth. Our Dean also suggested that it would be nice kung may theater play din. Since it is a three days celebration.
“Then let’s settle with sky blue. Pink ’yung banner ng HUMSS-2, ’di ba?” ani ko at tumango sila. Dito sa university kasi, each strand ng Senior Highschool ay may dalawang section lang. I am from HUMSS-1.
“It would be nice if food ang ititinda natin sa booth natin, ’yung mga fast food sana” Maze suggested— our class vice president. “Oo, tama. Kasi usually food ’yung pakay nang mga students e” Kimberly added.
We continued talking about the booth, and we settled for the decision na fast food ang ibebenta namin. It is Maze, Gia, and Draven ang in-charge sa cashier at accomodation area ng booth namin.
“What about sa theater play natin? Any suggestions?” ani ko habang nakatayo sa harapan. “What about we play The Love Story of Eros and Pysche?” a classmate of mine suggested, and everyone agreed with it. Nga naman, their love is the purest love in Greek Mythology.
Eme.
“I’ll be the Director. Please nominate someone to play the role of Eros and Psyche. And then we’ll discuss the side characters later on, after lunch” ani ko. Agad na nabuhay ang mga kaluluwa nila at nag nominate nga nang madaming student to play for the role.
After a long process, Yhelenna Santiago won the role for Psyche. While Hugo Quizon will play the role of Eros.
I glanced at my watch and it’s already 12:30 in the noon na pala. Geez, I promised Amber to have lunch with them.

I took my eyes off from the phone when I felt someone matched their walking pace with me. It was Maze. “How could you look so elegant while stressing out, Mayora” he said out of nowhere. “I don’t know, maybe it’s just the way I am” ani ko at tumawa nang mahina. “Yes, just the way you are” he added. I shrugged my shoulders and bid my goodbye to him.
I received a message from Amber.

My forehead creased with her message and I let out a chuckle.
I chuckled with my thought and continued making my way towards the cafeteria. Nang makarating ako sa entrance nito, there are only few students inside. I saw Amber together with Syrine and Adienne standing by the bushes.
Lumapit ako sa kinaroroonan nila. “Glad you’re here na. Gutom na ako, huhu” ani ni Adienne. “Sorry, Adi. We discussed something about the Foundation day kasi” ani ko. “It’s okay, Tara na” aya ni Amber.
I felt how they held my hand and shoulders. I really feel safe with them.
Nang makapasok kami sa cafeteria ay agad kong inilibot ang mata ko, looking for a certain someone. “Si Quim ba?” Syrine said and I shook my head as an answer.
