"I'll see you all tomorrow on stream, yeah?
Of course I will~ gn you potatoes :3"
BadBoyHalo has left the server

BadBoyHalo had just clicked off of his server, MunchyMC, supposedly for the night. Munchy, one of Bad's current lifelong projects, racked up players as the years went on and slowly but surely became one of the biggest servers during that period on Minecraft, known for its active community and fun events. The owner, BadBoyHalo, runs the show and behind the curtains too; constantly making sure all properties work along all devices, checking codes, reading through ban appeals. All of the time that you think a Minecraft server owner would have because, it's just a video game? Alas, would be surprised on the copious amount of work Bad puts on himself.

However, maybe it's just Bad piling all of that onto himself for other reasons. It's not like his work doesn't pay off either; Munchy averages 60-110 members on a normal day, and on days that he's streaming on YouTube, it ranks up to the two and three hundreds. It's all thanks to the work Bad does, so can he really complain? Bad planned to stream tomorrow too, as he did every Saturday, slightly excited for the amount of players his server may gain during his streaming hours. He even tweeted about it, which he hasn't done in VERY long. It read:

BadBoyHalo: ITS TIME! Stream on Saturday at 7:30pm for all you memers to come hang out on MunchyMC <3 Hope to see you there owo

Checking his emails before he clicked off for the night, it was mostly all of the regular things. Various ads for different assortments of games and social medias, influencers begging him to check out their channels. There were a few emails that related to Munchy and some bugs Bad would deal with later, because only God knows how long he's been working for already. Quickly glancing through them all however, one particular caught his eye;

To whom it may concern;
The fame has gotten to your head, you are losing yourself to what you stand for and you don't even understand it. Tomorrow at 7:55pm, 25 minutes after MunchyMC's stream will begin and the owner along with most admins will be too busy to watch out for any hackers. A man with a blue, diamond shaped mask will appear, stealing various codes and kits from random players within KitPVP. 3 things will be taken from Munchy tomorrow night: code, kits and confidence. I hope to see you there, Mr. Halo.
From, The Phantom Thief of Diamonds

Bad knew he shouldn't have sent out that tweet about his stream tomorrow. He read it over, again and again, trying to make sense of the words written onto the screen; his confidence? What did that mean? Bad is confident in what he does. While he assumed it was just some random troller trying to trick his server into submission, he still got a few of the heebie-jeebies wondering what this could be about.

So, he messaged Callahan.

"Callahan, I need your help," Bad typed out onto MySpace.

"Uuuuuuuugh @Callahan @Callahan @Callahan @Callahan"

No response came for a while, roughly 10 seconds. Bad felt stupid for even worrying about a dumb spam email anyway, and was about to click off and just go to bed for the night when:

"hi."

"Callahan. I need your opinion," Bad grinned, messaging back almost instantaneously.

"what," roughly 3 minutes later.

"I recieved this odd email earlier today, something about a thief on Munchy tomorrow?
I'll send you a screenshot
Any idea on what it means?" Bad typed so fast his fingers nearly flew off. Going back to his email before closing it for good, Bad sent Callahan a photo of the letter.

"erm
what the f
i don't know that's really weird lol
probably some guys weird prank or fetish
i wouldn't worry about it tho lol
i'll keep an eye out"

"Yeah... Probably so T.T I guess we'll see tho haha.
Ok, that's perfect. Thank you
Have a good night ragamuffin"

Bad clicked out of MySpace. It didn't matter anyway, probably some random hacker that would be banned a second after getting on. The most Bad will have to do is maybe give someone Elite for a week for a stolen kill (or something) and it'll all be fine.

That's what he told himself anyway, as Bad turned off his monitor and went to bed for the night.

The next day went just about as normal as Bad could've expected. No weird hackers, some annoying donations sure; but it's not unexpected. His stream went just about as it usually did, maybe a few 50 or so more members than usual thanks to the tweet sent the night prior. His servers' player count skyrocketed too- it was going to be a good Saturday evening for MunchyMC and BadBoyHalo.

They were playing Red Rover, one they play only every few weeks rather than every one like Simon Says. As the stream progressed into the night, people kept joining, wanting to be a part of the stream. Everything went according to plan, all through the stream.

Maybe a few problems progressed after the stream ended, but it's fine. Right after stream ended, a person spamming in chat caught Bad's attention. He was about to just mute them, until he read what they were actually saying to him;

"bbh help me!
i don't know where my kits went
it said I had access to basically all of them except for vacuum
now it says i only have pvp and archer
bad please
that took so long to get to :(
@BadBoyhalo
you better be trolling"

Bad read it over a few times, assuming trolls or something. His mind flashed, however, to a particular message he was sent the night prior:

"A man with a blue, diamond shaped mask will appear, stealing various codes and kits from KitPVP."

Thoughts swirled through his head, thoughts of failure taking the forefront of his brain. He teleported to the spammer, finding a seemingly newbie player at the corner of the map. "What... Happened?" Bad almost began, before several pings from moderators and players caught his eye.

"badboyhalo," Callahan.
"badboyhalo??" RedVelvetCake.
"something is wrong with kits spawn," Callahan messaged again. "come quick, wtf did you do???
it has been going on for a while now apparently"

Bad quickly scrolled through his mod list which is currently online, teleporting iNateCo to the kit-less person.

"Hey," Bad spoke to his senior moderator, slightly concerned. "There's something wrong with the server, whatever this player says, they're telling the truth. Help them out, will you?"

"Sure thing, boss," Nate went to go help the kit-less solve their issues. Meanwhile, Bad went to go fix the issue at KitPVP's spawn.

-

Really, what happened at Kit's spawn was a simple error that was easy to fix, but did do quite a headache of damage. The code for no PVP at spawn was deleted, resulting in many people getting constantly spawn killed and havoc. It was an easy fix on Callahan's part, and while many were a little startled by what had happened, no serious damage was done. Bad was thankful for the fact, however, something else was nabbing at him.

There wasn't anything in console showing who did it or why. However, Bad was able to retrieve a time that people started to complain.

7:55pm.
