Hagerstown, Maryland
Bloomington used his palm to slam his hand on the door of the AirBnb Xavier and Clover were staying in. Xavier, who was sitting by a wooden chair by the door, opened it. Bloomington examined Xavier and saw him in his kevlar suit, Mossberg 500 in one hand.
"Clover!" Xavier yelled, slightly tilting his head to the side.
It was raining at the moment. Bloomington was in his kevlar suit as well.
"You ready?" Xavier asked.
Clover sprinted into the doorway.
"Yeah, let's get this over with." Bloomington responded.
* * *
Xavier and Clover sat in the front and passenger seat respectively while Bloomington sat in the back, assembling a suppressor onto a sniper rifle, a Ruger M77.
"We can't just take a one-way trip to Brooklyn. We have to stop at one point." Clover said, worried.
"She's right." Xavier agreed.
"Well, we might have to." Bloomington talked back.
As soon as Xavier looked toward Bloomington, he saw lights. Bloomington recognized the cars. They belonged to Royston.
"That's them!" Bloomington yelled.
Xavier loosened his foot's grip on the pedal. He purposely slowed down.
"Xavier, what are you doing!?" Bloomington yelled.
"Hold on to those handles." Xavier said.
Bloomington and Clover did so, and Xavier slowly raised his hand as he waited for the men to go right behind him. They eventually reached that point. He snatched the handle on the roof before using his thumb to flip the wheel to the right rapidly. They were right beside a cemetery. The Rest Haven cemetery.
Currently, it was closed to the public for an unknown reason. Xavier almost drove through the fence, before quickly drifting to the left. Clover was wide-eyed and Bloomington had his eyes closed. As he drifted left, he hit the corner of their adversary's car, flipping them to the right, making them drive into the fence.
"Scoot back, Clover." Xavier said in a surprisingly monotone manner.
She immediately put her left arm up. Xavier bent down and slammed his hand on the glovebox. His old, dusted mask and his classic P30L were in the glovebox. They fell out as Xavier grabbed both, letting off the wheel. Xavier stopped drifting and let go of the pedal before shifting the gears to reverse before slamming the brake.
They skidded across the asphalt as their adversaries got out. Xavier got out before ordering; "Get out. Now!"
Clover and Bloomington both got out.
"Bloomington, you got your sniper ready?" Xavier asked.
"Yeah!" Bloomington answered.
"Clover, got your gun?"
"Uhm, I have my knives." Clover answered, awkwardly.
"Unless you're a professional knife thrower, that won't be good."
Bloomington all of a sudden threw a gun into Clover's hand, a Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun.
"A shotgun?" Clover asked.
