Manhattan, New York City, New York
Xavier sat inside of his car on New Year's Eve on Broadway. It was almost like suicide sitting out on the side of the road, waiting for a specific car to drive by on New Year's Eve, just a few blocks from Times Square. The car housed a bag of weapons and ammunition in the backseat. Knives, even gardening tools sat in there. He wanted to exact brutal revenge. He scanned the area. He remembered the license plate; 1NYC161.
He kept it in his head, that plate.
1NYC161.
1NYC161.
1NYC161.
It repeated like a record in his head, he almost said it out loud. But his repeating paid off. He found it. 1NYC161. It drove past the left of him. Xavier stared at it intensely before flipping on his headlights. Confetti had rained, despite it not even being 10 minutes before midnight, as he followed the car. He heard banter and laughter, and saw guns and bags in the back of the car. They didn't even have an escort, just one eight-seater. Xavier found it laughable.
He scanned the car and found his target; Richie Benjy Pickering. His car followed him at the same speed. He wasn't worried about looking suspicious. He was worried about Rich and his would-be slow, painful death. He followed the car, as they drove through to the George Washington bridge. Xavier watched as he saw a man look through the back window of the car.
He saw a man talking, which Xavier couldn't hear clearly. But he knew he was compromised. With this knowledge, he slammed his foot down on the pedal. The speed rose as Xavier's car reached the bumper of Rich's. He heard frantic yelling. Rich turned to the back of the car and looked at Xavier. They both made eye contact as smoke from the active crash filled the air. They saw each other. Xavier's back wheels were starting to burn out as Rich's car started to speed at an equal pace. A chase was being initiated. Xavier swerved his car to the right, slamming his hands on the wheel.
"C'mon, you son of a bitch." Xavier spoke.
He swerved to the left, colliding with the right corner, as they reached the middle of the George Washington bridge.
BANG!
Xavier was shell-shocked for a moment as he noticed that he had just been shot at. A gigantic hole in his glass windshield stood. Xavier knew what was to come, so he ducked his head down, guiding himself with sound.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Xavier swerved left and right, smoke seeping through the hole as he had made contact with the car once more. Xavier kept his foot on the pedal before he slowly reclined his seat. He kept his head down, going left so he wouldn't fall off of the bridge. He reached the reclining limit, before snatching his black bag and pulling it with all of his might. He unzipped it and pulled out his HK P30L. He pointed it through the hole of the window and fired back.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
He heard a scream and realized he hit someone. He put his head up. They were off of the bridge and now in an industrial part of Fort Lee, the part of the state he knew they were in, since he had been here before. There was a dock right beside them, completed with a plethora of shipping containers. They were at least in the hundreds. Xavier fired at the car once more.
