Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia
"Where is this fucking airport, Bloomington?" Xavier asked while driving.
"About 40 minutes away." Bloomington answered.
"We passed like 10 airports, why couldn't we do those?"
"This one is the only one that goes to my city."
"Where is your city?"
"Where my headquarters are. Lexington, Kentucky."
"So your headquarters are in Kentucky?"
"Yeah, what?"
"I just find it weird that instead of doing a big city like New Orleans, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, hell even Seattle, you do it in the most generic place imaginable."
"Unprofessionalism, Xavier."
"Fuck unprofessionalism, Bloomington, I'm just wondering."
"Whatever."
Currently, they were driving through Santa Cruz de la Sierra, about 30-40 hours from Montevideo. It was currently heavily storming.
"So, am I your... apprentice now?"
"Yes. I want to know though, what inspired you?"
"A man that was named, Rich or something, killed my mom. I've been tracking him ever since and plotting revenge."
"You sound pretty casual about your mom." Bloomington said.
Xavier stood silent, looking at Bloomington while driving.
"I mean, not like that." Bloomington said.
Xavier looked back at the road.
"I have a dog." Xavier said.
"A dog?" Bloomington asked.
"Yeah."
"What kind of dog is it?"
"Great Dane. His name is Zed."
"How old is he?"
"About 9, he doesn't have a lot of time left, he's old."
"Who's looking over him?"
"Someone."
