Black was stronger than her. Black could hurt her again. White was in no condition to fight. Could she? Could this be the one instance in which an emergency meeting had to be called? Could she, White, do it? Would she do it? The decision was made. White would call an emergency meeting and call Black out on all the murderous intent still left in her body. Black had lied back in electrical, that dark, dark room. "I'm not the killer, but I know who is," That was a load of garbage. Black might as well have been ripping her to shreds. Oh, that's right, she was.
White noticed Purple in Communications. Purple had been and always will be the smartest of those crewmates. They'd always mess with the tech and fix all the broken machines. If something in the Skeld was broken, you'd bet that Purple would fix it. They were a bit introverted. They tried to avoid meetings and other mates as much as possible. They were very quirky and apparently didn't know how to translate science language into English. White still enjoyed their company.
Faster. White had to get there faster. She knew that Black was waiting in Navigation for her. White would say, "Hello," loud enough for Black to hear her. White sped up her pace, speeding through shields and turning down the hall with o2.
White stopped suddenly. She heard a sound. A loud, clear sound that rang in her ears. She felt the sticky sensation of that burning liquid she remembered all too well flow out. White reoriented herself. She looked down. Her bandages, wrapped so tightly around her body had come lose, softening with the new red liquid flowing from her.
"Tisk tisk tisk," A voice behind her answered her question of 'what happened?' though she could plainly tell. "You humans just won't stay down." The voice said.
White collapsed.
Black smiled.
White could still move her head, though with all her strength she tried to stop the bleeding. Her efforts were to no avail. White was going to pass out soon from this much blood loss. She needed to see her attacker. Could it have been Black? She lifted her head with much effort.
She saw her.
She saw Black, standing there with a gun in ger hands, pointed at her.
But it wasn't the face Black had made at her the first time she had killed her. It was filled with the most hatred White had ever seen in a smile. Then Black scowled.
When had she ever had a gun?
Wouldn't she have used it on her earlier?
White put more pressure on her newly opened wound. She could stop the bleeding. She knew she could.
Humans?
Humans?
Why would Black say human, when she was, in fact, referring to herself as a human?
"Y-you..." White couldn't get all her words out. She was silenced by that final ringing gunshot sent from the run pointing to her throat.
Author's note: White is so dumb 🤦

THE_SPACE_BEAN_STORY [ORIGINAL TEXT]
FanfictionThe original text of my novel that I first started writing four years ago, The space bean story. The beginning is bad, but bear with me. I think the story behind it is pretty good. Ignore the plot holes, please :)
