Chapter 17

"Then why don't you bring her back now, then?" Green said beside Yellow. He jumped at the volume of Green's voice.

"We didn't hear that White had been murdered until a few minutes ago, Green," Pink said, obviously getting more annoyed than he already was. "We could go now, if you wish." He was already getting up to leave, going in the opposite direction of where White was. Green didn't respond.

"Where are you going?" Purple asked.

"To get the revival stuff. The stuff that we used on White the first time. You all can eject Black. I don't want to watch." Pink replied, not looking back and not stopping. The smallest look of shock appeared on their face, but then it was erased quickly. Cyan got up as well, but in the direction of the weapons room without a word. No one questioned him. They knew where he was going, to check if White was okay. If her bones were not broken.

There was a horrible silence. It was as If everyone there wanted to speak, but no one had enough will to. The air was thick, but everyone knew what they had to do. Yellow stood up.

"Come on, Black," Yellow said in such a flat tone he didn't know how it kept so calm. "Let's get this over with."

"Yeah," She answered him, getting up from her seat as well, heading to the air lock door. "I'm sorry. For everything, guys." She pressed the large red button to open the door. It opened painfully slowly, as if it knew what was about to happen. She walked through when it finally reached the top, then pushed the button on the inside. She waved goodbye and gave a slight smile, then was sucked into the vacuum of space.

Yellow was standing outside the door, watching her ball up and freeze. He knew she was as good as dead in about fifteen seconds. He saw her mouth something before she died. An expression of shock appeared on his face. What did she say?

It was such a horrible silence. Like it was breaking off parts of Yellow's soul. Of course, it wasn't, he was just being pathetic.

"That's it?" Green asked.

"No, we need to wait for-" Yellow turned around, startled and interrupted by a loud scream. A scream that belonged to Cyan. It was followed by many cries for help and for White.

He was running before he even knew his legs were moving. This was odd since he was usually one to hang back. Step away from danger or drama. Cyan's wailing and crying led Yellow right to him.

"What?!" Yellow was panting as the scene opened before him.

White's body had been seemingly ripped in half, with everything above her waist gone. Cyan was kneeling over her body shaking and crying. There was a huge puddle of blood around her.

"We're not going to be able to save her!" Cyan cried out. "She's gone!" Cyan had his hands covering his face.

Yellow didn't know what to say. He just stood there, speechless. After watching Cyan cry for about half a minute, he walked up to where Cyan was sitting. He put his hand on Cyan's shoulder and stood there for a while, almost gagging at the sight, but he couldn't. Not in front of Cyan.

"You're... You're going to be okay, Cyan," Yellow paused, kneeling, but not getting any closer to White's body. "She's in a better place now."

Lime suddenly came out of nowhere.

"Okay, what's going on here-" She saw White. "No!" She yelped. "No no no no no..." She took a step closer. Closer. So close that she was towering over Yellow. "She's dead! No! Oh God, please no... She loved all of us, no matter what we did! I... I used to pick on her. but she still kept me as a friend! Now... We have to bring her back! I didn't get to say goodbye!" Lime was brought to her knees.

"Lime- Get back here!"

"Lime, what's all this fuss about? Come on, get back here!"

Yellow realized it was Green and Purple calling out to Lime.

"Guys, I'm back," Pink appeared behind them. "Jesus Christ!" Pink was immediately taken aback. "No! White- Shit!" Pink ran towards them, holding a vile in his hands.

That's when the lights flickered. Like they were taking their last breath.
