It's 2024; a new beginning.
I've moved on and almost forgiven,
until I uncovered your lies—you kept lying,
the truth finally revealed.
Could have chosen
to be a man and forgotten,
yet I'm a man deeply damaged,
my unspoken feelings uncontainably
unconcealed.
Hate me whenever you want to,
relish the relief of your decision,
but carry remorse in my shoes;
you have to.
Leave me, but never fool me.
I'm a man with shame;
you've hurt me.
You apologize but remain unapologetic.
Where's your remorse? That gets me.
I sense the last of us, even before.
I've no face to lose anymore;
I've said what's within me.
Please, hate me.- M. Safrain
