Head held high, striding, and grinning like crazy was little Miss María García. She'd been told she'd be in this position in front of her before, but never did she actually believe it would be one day actually presented before her; however her life had only been surprises throughout the past four years.
One black boot after the other guided her closer and closer to the building in front of her, accompanied by her best friend, his brother, and their new gang. She stayed close to Andrés; proud to be pursuing this life-changing phenomenon with him.
Toledo. It had always been a part of Sergio's plan; and it's where they were presented now. The place where they original gang would spend five months learning everything they needed to know for the yet-but-close-to-be-pursued heist. A heist that had been in the making for the past 30-40 years. Sergio, now known as The Professor, had been planning it for the majority of his life after he saw his father get shot outside the front of a bank. According to him, the idea for the heist was his father's, and since his death, he wanted to pursue his dream as a tribute.
Their goal was to take 2.4 billion euros, but without stealing from anyone. That means it would involve printing their own euro bills. But only would a plan made by Sergio Marquina be crazy yet accurate enough to actually include schemes in which the gang could do it and actually get away with it.
Making their way up the steps and in through the doors, the gang observed their latest hideout. María, after sweeping her fingertip over the table located to the left on the bottom floor, eyed the place in disgust after realising how much dust she had collected just from the small movement. Irritated, she whipped her head in Sergio's direction and told him about her latest review on the place.
"Excuse me, Professor, but this place is very run down and dusty. Don't tell me that this is where we will be staying?" She stated with her signature displeased pout.
Some confused but some in agreement, the gang turned to look at her her, Sergio rolling his eyes before doing so himself.
"Yes, well, the usual life of crime isn't usually...glamorous, so this is what we are going to have to deal with for now." He replied, pushing his glasses up a little, as he did so.
Slowly turning back around, Sergio was prepared to continue his journey to the staircase, but he was interrupted yet again by another upset comment from García.
"But, we are not in the usual life of crime as we are about to steal 2.4 Billion euros."
Facing her again, Sergio reminded her that they hadn't yet finished their heist.
"Besides, you won't be living here for more than five months." He added.
Attempting to go to the staircase again, Sergio was once again stopped by another snobby María comment.
"I'm still going to be living here! And I don't think I should have to live in these kinds of conditions for any amount of time."
Quietly chuckling, Andrés placed a finger over his lips to try and hide the fact that he found María's similar snobby attitude amusing in an attempt to prevent it from proceeding.
Now completely annoyed, Sergio whipped his head back around, unamused, and sternly told María,
"If you don't like it, you know where the door is."
Noticing the angry expression upon her leader's face and the silence that had completely surrounded the room, María decided to put an end to her complaining and wait patiently for Sergio to proceed.
Once he did so, she piffted and muttered, smiling,
"I only thought that you could have cleaned up a little."
