I was going to wait until Friday like usual, but it's as done as I'm ever going to get it, so here's a mid-week surprise!
Author's Note #1: If you're reading my other series, Tainted, this is where Thoreau begins to really cross over with it. You'll see it at the end of book three and the beginning of book four. You don't need to read Tainted to understand what happens here, although it might give you more background or clear up some references.
Author's Note #2: I've decided I want to add Elijah and Imogene's scene to this book. I was going to save it for another book, but I changed my mind. I think it will work perfectly to put it as the chapter before Homesick. When I write it and add it, that's where it will go, but it won't happen just yet. I want to get the main storyline done first. It might end up being two chapters, depending on what the characters demand to say and do. : )
