Little Consequences: Shadowhunters

Magnus experienced the phenomenon known as 'the calm before the storm' when he retired to bed that evening after Alec departed with Jace. The Alpha hated seeing Alec leave at night but let the young Omega go. The warlock slumbered peacefully until midnight struck, at which point an abrupt uneasy feeling enveloped him. However, he dismissed it, assuming his partner and omega, Alec, was simply returning to the institute. Little did he know, his assumption was gravely mistaken....

 The warlock observed that Alec had not read his text messages, which was unusual. Alec typically responded to Magnus unless he was upset with him, but even then, he would at least read the messages. Magnus began to worry by noon, as he had tried calling Jace multiple times but only received vague responses. He growled at the other Alpha a few times due to the lack of clear explanation. He was pissed off now. 

Magnus was preparing to teleport into the institute when an unexpected knock on his door caught his attention, accompanied by the familiar scent of his partner. The mixture of warm vanilla, firewood, leather, and cranberries signaled Alec's presence. However, Magnus couldn't help but notice that the scent was slightly altered, piquing his curiosity.

Upon swinging the door wide open, his focus was instantly drawn to the child emanating the scent of Alec. Magnus furrowed his brows as he peered past Jace. The familiar scent of Alec lingered, yet the beloved individual was nowhere in sight. "Where is Alec? Why does this pup smell of him?" Magnus demanded, shifting his gaze from the junior Alpha to the pup. Jace chuckled nervously. 

" Jace. Tell me. Now" Magnus snapped over with the games. His wolf crying out for Alec was giving him a headache now and he was over these petty games. 

"Well. I was dating that pretty Warlock apprentice. Well, I broke it off with her and she got real upset and told me, 'I would regret it', and I wake up and Alec is a child......The warlock cursed him or something". Jace explained in a rush looking nervous at the growing fury on magnus face. 

" Janathan Herendale! I'm going to KILL you!! Give me Alexander" Magnus snapped furiously shocking Jace with magic out of spite taking the poor omega into his arms. 

" Oh, poor sweet boy. What has that mean Jace done to you". Magnus cooed holding the giggling boy to his chest. 

" HEY!" Jace snapped offended. 

Magnus glared at the blonde alpha," You. Quiet. " .
