An unfamiliar smell had caught my nose. I slowly opened my eyes to an unsightly setting. 'Where am I?' I thought to myself.
I looked around the dreary room; it was like a prison. A jail door in front of my eyes, my hands cuffed to the dirty brick walls. The room was dark and wet, with torches hanging on the walls following a pattern.
A second ago, I was in my room playing an otome game my friends had recommended. I had fallen asleep and awoke to this scary damned place.
I tried to pull the chains trapping both my wrists on the walls.
*Chnng!* A loud, uncomfortable sound emanated from the pulling. I stammered, as the noise echoed through the hallways.
I suddenly heard footsteps. 'Who?' I felt an unwavering chill, horrid to find the owner of those footsteps inching closer and closer to my cell.
*Chak! Chak! Chak!*
I heard murmurs of two men. 'Men?'
"Argh! It's the princess again! What could she be complaining about this time?"
"Princess? She's a fake! She's going to get executed in a week anyway."
"Haha! That arrogant little face won't be as cheeky as it was a week from now. Hah!"
'Princess? Executed!' The two men stood facing me, sneering from behind the cell.
I felt scared at that moment. I didn't know why I was here or how I came to be here. 'Was I kidnapped?'
I spoke up, yelling maniacally. "Who are you? Why am I here? This won't end here. Let me go now, and I won't reveal this to the police about what happened today! I'm poor, I didn't have a family... Is there a reason to kidnap me?"
