The kitchen was quiet, as you cooked. Kakucho had offered to help you multiple times by now, but each time you forced him to sit back down. This was your thank you to him.

''Let me help-'' Kakucho tried to insist, but you slapped his hand away with the spatula. ''I'm thanking you. Seriously, I don't think you understand how much that stuffed animal means to me. It's not just some kid's toy.'' Kakucho pondered your words for a few seconds.

''Is it okay for me to ask...Where did you get it from?'' He carefully asked, immediately telling you that you didn't have to answer the question if you didn't want to. You gave him a reassuring smile. ''It's fine. I'll tell you.''

You quickly plated the food, handing him his plate. Oh how thankful you were that there were a few dishes in the boxes. You would go insane if you didn't get to do things that were a big part of your everyday life. You sat across from the male.

''That bunny was given to me by someone very dear to me.'' You started, blowing softly on the food to cool it down. ''I see. It's good that you have such people in your life-'' ''He's dead.''

A bit taken aback, Kakucho could barely swallow the food he currently had in his mouth. ''Oh. I'm sorry.'' He looked at you apologetically. ''No worries. I promised to keep on living, for his sake. Even if I was so close to taking my life once.'' You weren't sure why, but Kakucho felt like the kind of a guy you could tell anything to. You felt like he would always listen.

You continued to eat, while your words echoed in Kakucho's mind. Just briefly, Izana came to his mind. You two continued to eat in silence.

On the 10th floor, a meeting was in progress.

''How is she?''

The executives sent glances at each other, waiting for someone to speak up. ''She's skilled, sir.'' Kokonoi started, sliding the folder towards Mikey. ''We went through everything in her laptop. We have to decide what we do with the PC setup she had in her apartment. I think it's the best to destroy it, since we can't get into it.'' Mikey took the folder, going through all the information the white haired man had gained.

''There was no personal information?'' His eyes narrowed. ''None, sir. She keeps those somewhere else.'' ''No nothing? She's an university student, zero school files?'' Mikey questioned. ''As I said, none, sir. It's possible her school things are on her PC-'' Kokonoi was cut off by Takeomi puffing smoke of his cigarette on his face. ''Someone as skilled as her with computers, and her school files are stuck on a desktop? No way. She's using a cloud service for sure, so doesn't matter if we destroy it or not. I say we don't take any risks and just do it.'' Mikey listened to his advisor, taking in each word. Somehow he felt bad about destroying something that was yours.

But it's better to be safe than sorry.

''Then we'll destroy it. No need to tell her. Has anyone checked on her tenant?'' ''He moved out the next day. Our guys made sure he doesn't speak to the police.'' Sanzu spoke, and Mikey answered with a nod.

''Then we will proceed with the current plan. Dismissed.''

That day you spent with Kakucho. He took on Mochi's shift, and Mochi was off to do some other mission. You wanted to stay in the whole day, organizing the few things you had left. The apartment did not look or feel like a home yet, but you could live with it. It was the best you could do, for now.

Finishing unpacking the last box, you sighed in frustration. Kakucho immediately noticed something was wrong, and walked up to you with a worried look. ''What is it?''

''This is a bit embarrassing...'' You started, groaning. ''...But there's another thing I would love to get.'' ''Yeah, what is it? I'll try my best.''

''...My birth control.''
