Warmth

Hyunjin's POV

I was so busy dealing with work all night, I didn't even realize morning arrived. I got up from the chair to get ready for the day. After getting ready, I went to Chan's room. Mingi had informed me that my father wishes to see me. I knock on Chan's door. "Channie, you there?" I asked "come in" I heard a Chan say in a soft voice.

I entered his room to see him getting ready. "Channie, dad wishes to see us" I said sitting on his bed "but we don't have anything!" Chan said raising his voice a little. "No progress?" I asked. Chan shook his head and said "None, Jinnie. I asked everywhere! This is getting frustrating. 50 years Jinnie, 50 years and nothing!"

I sighed "Calm down Channie. Even our siblings are trying their best" I said. "Is dad trying? He is the King of Hell for fuck sake! He has access to all realms and yet no results" Chan yelled. "For the last time calm the fuck down. Let's have our breakfast then go seek audience with our Father." I said getting up.

Minho's POV

I was packing few things I needed, to practice magic later on. To strengthen my abilities I need help of these little things. Syphon magic is the base of any magic. If I don't practice strengthening this then my magic abilities won't be strong enough.

"Yah Minho! Your Prince is here to see you!" San yelled from the living room. Hyunjin? Why will he come here though? "Tell him to come here!" I yelled back. I heard a knock "come in" I said. I see Felix enter with a bright smile "Oh? Felix? What are you doing here so early in the morning?" I asked
"I'm sorry for disturbing your morning but I came here for two things" said Felix.

He continued "one, let's go down for breakfast together and two, this." Felix walked towards me, leaning in and capturing my lips in a spontaneous kiss. My eyes widened because of his sudden action but I soon closed my eyes and reciprocated his kiss. He had his hands on my waist pulling me close. His lips were so soft against mine, even now he radiated warmth.

Before our kiss could get any deeper I heard the door open "Minh- Oh? Oh shit" Wooyoung closed the door quickly and continued from the other side of the door "I'm sorry to interrupt your soul sucking session but we need to leave for breakfast or we'll be late. Felix stepped back a little. "I'm sorry for kissing you so suddenly but I regretted not kissing you yesterday on the hill and it bugged me all night" said Felix.

"It's okay Felix. I..actually liked it, even if it was a short one" I said giving him a reassuring smile. "Then we'll continue this later. Let's go now" said Felix as he took my hand and dragged me out the room. "Well sorry for cock blocking. Let's leave please. I'm starving!" Said Wooyoung as he walked out with San.

We entered the dining hall. "I'm sitting with Felix as usual so I'll see you both later" I said "actually I'm coming with y'all to your table. I need to give this letter to Lucifer" said Wooyoung "Oh I can give it to him if you want" said Felix "No Kai said to strictly give it to Lucifer though I'm sure he'll tell you about it later" said Wooyoung.

We walked towards the Royals table. I didn't realize I was still holding hands with Felix till i saw Hyunjin staring at our hands. "Angel sit here" said Hyunjin sternly "Uh..is it okay if he sits with me today?" Asked Felix "no" said Hyunjin finally looking at Felix. "What do you mean no?" I asked "I meant no you can't. Do you want to hear it in Korean 'ANDWAE'!" Said Hyunjin. I sighed before Hyunjin continued "don't forget the contract mundane"

Mundane...I haven't heard him call me that in ages and now it feels weird and...upsetting. I slowly walk towards his side and sit. "Oh Wooyoung, come sit with us!" Said Yeji ignoring our situation. "Oh no thanks, I just came here to give Lucifer this letter and plus I don't want to see anymore of Minho's soul sucking sessions" Wooyoung said as he gave the letter and walked away. "Soul sucking session? What does he mean by that Minho" asked Seungmin. Damn you Wooyoung! I looked around to see everyone waiting for an answer.

"Oh it's nothing, Minho and I kissed" said Felix as he smiled at me, giving me a look that said 'I'll handle it'. "WHAT?!" Asked Hyunjin. "Not when I'm eating my salad! Now I can't eat or stop imagining it. Ugh!" Whined Changbin as he pushed away his bowl of salad. Others were just silent trying to take in this new piece of information. "COME AGAIN" said Hyunjin "Calm down! Your jealous gay ass is showing" said Jeongin "We kissed" said Felix "Why would you do that?" Asked Hyunjin before continuing "he's my Slave." "Exactly. he's your Slave. We kissed because we both wanted to. There's no contract holding us down, unlike yours." Said Felix as he smirked.

Both of them were staring at each other as if having a silent conversation before Hyunjin looks at me and says "we'll talk about this later" I sighed knowing he's either going to rip me or my ass later. "Let's go Christopher, we'll be late" said Hyunjin, getting up and leaving with Christopher.

Hyunjin's POV

I opened the letter to read it's content as we were on our way to meet or Father. "Chan! Read this! It's from Kai. We might have a lead! Let's talk about this with our Father" I said. Chan nodded in response. As soon as we reach the palace, we enter "Dad!" Chan called out "Oh my Sons! Y'all are finally here! I have news" said Dad "What is it?" I asked "Your Mom, She's back"
