I wake up and look over to see the bed empty, I grab my phone to see a text from Ethan.

Had to go into the office early today.

I roll my eyes sitting the phone back down then get out of bed heading to the bathroom. After a shower and getting dressed I head down stairs into the kitchen. I walk in seeing the table set with a rose and plate with cover over top. I walk over to table looking a the roses seeing a card sitting in front of it.

"Wanted to get something as beautiful as you."

I sit down the card sitting in the chair uncovering the plate to see French toast with strawberries on top, an omelet and apple wooed smoked bacon my favorite breakfast meal. I start digging into my food when my phone goes off. I pick it up looking to see my mom FaceTiming me and I answer seeing Melody face pop up.

"Mommy." Melody says smiling.

"Hi baby." I say to her.

"I miss you." She says.

"I miss you too, are you having fun with grandma?" I ask her.

"Yes we went swimming with dolphins, I got to ride on a float and we went sky diving." She says excitedly.

"Mama!" I yell into the phone.

The phone moves around a bit and my mom's face pops up.

"You took Melody sky diving?"
I ask her worried.

"Calm down, it wasn't really sky diving it was the place that they have for the kids when they're in a tube like thing." She says.

"Oh thank god." I say relieved.

"I'm appalled that you think I would actually take her sky diving." She says.

"You took her bunging jump for her birthday." I say.

"That's neither here nor there, how are you?" She ask.

"I'm good." I say.

"You look tired." She says.

"I've been putting a lot of hours in at the shop." I say.

"I don't mean that kind of tired." She says.

"Mama." I say.

"I won't say anything, just make sure that you're taking care of yourself and you do what's best for you and why makes you happy." She says.

"What if I don't know what that is anymore?" I ask her.

"You know, you're just afraid to admit it." She says.

I've been at the shop for about three hours now. It's Friday, which is one of our busiest days. The bell goes of letting know that another customer has entered.
