"Did you give your statement to the police?" Do-hee asks as soon as she enters the room alone without her secretary as usual

"Did you give your statement to the police?" Do-hee asks as soon as she enters the room alone without her secretary as usual. "Yeah, just now. Where's Ms. Shin?" I ask as she takes a seat beside my bed.

"Taking care of your car, and also telling the hospital to keep this away from the media and... The Almighty Chairwoman Joo." I groan at the last mention, realizing the consequences if this were to get out and she gets to know it.

She might find the killer herself and murder him in the dark.

"You can go home later. Tae-won said you just need some good rest to completely recover. Should I stay with you today? I can take the day off." I scoff with a smile, shaking my head.

"It's fine. Your company needs you right now. Have you found who published that article?" I ask with concern, leaning a little towards her as she smirk and leans back on the chair with her legs crossed. "You found it." I said with a chuckle, "Who is it?"

"No surprise. Just one of our beloved family members." I scoff, crossing my arms as I ask again. "Who might it be?" Do-hee smirks and pulls out a bunch of photos and hands them to me. I take a look at the photos with interest, gasping at the content where Noh Su-ahn, my aunt with an unknown man kissing in a car.

"She's having an affair?" I ask with a scoff, changing to another picture where they're smiling at each other in a really drunken state. "What a joke. If Chairwoman Joo finds out about this, she might have to step down from Mirae Apparel."

Do-hee laughs under her breath, nodding in agreement. "That's why I'm planning to threaten her with that. She dared to mess with my company, I'll make sure she gets tenfold of it." I smile, raising my hand as we both high-fived each other with a small laugh.

This is what I love about Do-hee. She's never scared to back down from mere troubles thrown by our family ever since she was taken in. She'd do anything to protect her company.

"How will you confront her about this?" I ask, handing her the photos back as she shrug her shoulders. "As usual, I guess. She's currently at a shopping mall, probably wasting her time. I'll meet her there, alone."
