Heavenly was getting her books out her locker for her first period class, first period was one of her favorite because she mostly understood the work they were doing and the teacher made it fun.
While she was getting her supplies she felt an arm wrap around her shoulder, she turned around being face with Elijah smiling at her.
Heavenly started leaning against the locker as the boy towered over her, "Hey Lili how are you?" He asked trying to start conversation, "I'm good Elijah."
Elijah scrunched up his face not being use for her calling him his birth given name but instead the nickname she had for him while they were an item, "What happened to E of Eli?" He asked, Heavenly had a beautiful gift of giving people nicknames but once you fall out with her she would automatically call you your real name and if you were used to the nickname it would sound weird.
"Elijah I don't know why you're acting different you know how I get with people after we fall out." Elijah rolled his eyes remembering "We don't gotta be like dat Lili I really wanna be in ya life again."
Heavenly rolled her eyes trying to walk away from him but he grabbed her wrist pulling her back, "Come on ma give me a chance."
Heavenly mugged him cause of the hold he had on her wrist she snatched back her hand and sent him a glare, "I an't finna be fooled by you again elijah and don't call me that."
Heavenly use to love all the pet names Elijah would give her but after how he did her and the talk with her brother she found if corny and annoying, "Lili-don't call me that either it's heavenly to you."
Heavenly turned around and walked to her class leaving Elijah there stunned he was sure the pet name would get her but he saw he would have to try a bit harder.
On the other hand Heaven saw the encounter Elijah and her sister just had, Heaven secretly had been crushing on the boy hard.
She made up fake scenarios and once even made a wedding invention for their fake wedding, she wanted Elijah so bad but was scared she would end up like all the other girls.
