Today was the day of the search party for Kaylen, there was a total of 19 people that were willing to help search for him.
The main ones that Heaven and Lili recognized were Journey, Lance, their mom, dad, and aunt. "Alright so let's split up and look for Kaylen if you find anything please call me" Jocelyn said.
Heaven, heavenly, and Journey all teamed up and went to go look, the groups were uneven some going to search solo but it was ok cause they needed to cover more ground.
From what they knew Kaylen left their house and his last known location was lance's house so that's where they started.
"Lance can you go to see the security camera from your ring doorbell maybe it caught something" heavenly suggested, after hitting Kaylen with a rock lance made sure to hide it and trash all the security footage.
"I already did that Lili it didn't have anything" Lance said, "Well we'll check again we have more eyes now come on pull it up!" Heavenly rushed.
Lance sighed pulling out his phone and going to the doorbell app and scrolled to the day Kaylen went missing which was two days ago.
"See heavenly nothing" he said proving his point. Heavenly sighed in defeat before journey noticed something, "Look!" She pointed at the time, it had skipped two hours and a figure was shown just at the corner almost where the camera didn't catch it.
"There's Kaylen stepping out of his car and then it cuts to a hour later and Kaylen's car is still there!" Journey said, the teens looked over the street but didn't see Kaylen's car.
Lance panicked but remembered he drove the car to a gas station two hours away, "Come on we gotta tell my mamma!" Heavenly said pulling out her phone to call their mom.
Heaven had wondered off somewhere feeling like she was going to throw up again, going over to a bush she was about to hurl when she saw something, "Guys!" She screamed holding her stomach trying to keep her puke down.
The teens rushed over to where she was and Lance grew nervous knowing that's where he hid the rock, "What the fuck?" Heavenly said about to reach for it, "Stop!" Journey screamed, "Wait till the police get here so they can get it we don't want our finger prints on it.
Heavenly nodded mentally slapping herself for her stupidity, she called her mother and 10 minutes later she arrived with the authorities.
Heaven couldn't hold down her puke for any longer and felt like she was about to pass out, the police lifted up the item and it was a rock with blood all over it.
"This must've been the rock used on your kid we'll take it in for testing, Officer Peter bring this to the car" the black male officer said and a small white woman came over grabbing the bag they put the rock in.
"Oh also send me that footage Yall found on the doorbell that can also be used as evidence" the cop said following the lady cop.
Heaven couldn't hold it anymore puking all over the ground making the adult and teens take a huge jump back, "Heaven!?" Jocelyn said disgusted by the puke getting on her shoes.
"I'm sorry this whole situation is making me sick" she said blaming the throw up on the situation that happened, Jocelyn nodded wrapping her arm around her daughter's shoulder "I'm going to take her home" she said.
Heavenly nodded and gestured for the teens to continue searching, "Whoever did this to Kaylen must've had it out for him who doesn't like Kaylen to the point they'll harm him?" Heavenly asked.
"Uhm...Probably Jacob but he moved schools so we don't know where he is" journey said referring to the boy who had it out for Kaylen.
After the search party heavenly and Heaven were sitting at the couch discussing the current situation at hand, "I think Lance had something to do with it" Heaven blurted out, "Why?" Heavenly asked.
"Cause yo don't be seeing the why he be looking at Kaylen I mean he drooled over him once" heavenly scrunched her face up trying to remember a moment where Lance gave her that vibe.
"The only time I remember Lance giving me a vibe like that was when...Kamari was hanging wit us" heavenly said talking about their "dead" friend.
Kamari hanged out with the group a year ago when they were all 14 and 15, long ago they were all one big happy group especially when the twins arrived.
It was Journey,Lance,Kaylen,Heaven,heavenly, and Kamari. Lance and Kamari were the closest though but one night we got a call that Kamari didn't come home one night and a week later his body was found floating in a river.
The night they got the call about Kamari he was last at lance's house but Lance said he left to go hang out with some girl named Ruby that was a senior at their school.
Rumor was they were in a secret relationship due to their age gap, Kamari told the group about it him being 16 at the time dating a 18 year old and we all thought it was a bit odd.
Kamari said he was going to break up with the girl cause she was acting real clingy and always thought he was out cheating and that's why he left lance's that day which was true.
But Lance also realized he wouldn't be able to have Kamari so when he was at the bottom of the stairs putting on his shoes Lance had hit him with a vase and trapped him in the basement.
Kamari had escaped 4 days later but Lance found him before he got to tell the cops and shot him in the head with his mother's gun, to get rid of the body he just simply left it in the lake and it was found by so fisher man 3 days later.
The teens had been so devastated by the news that their friend was never coming back to them and that's when Heaven started making friends with Neveah and Kourtney and everything just changed.
"And don't you think it's weird that with Kaylen he was last seen at Lance's house" heaven said feeling like she was connecting the dots.
"Heaven what are you- What if Lance killed Kamari and is planning to do the same to Kaylen!" She shouted, "Heaven! Kamari died for a gunshot to the head and was left in a river do you think LANCE who is afraid of blood would do that!?" Heavenly said.
"Heavenly don't be dumb it could be anyone" heavenly shook her head and got upstairs feeling her sister was talking crazy, "Heavenly!" Heaven shouted feeling frustrated.
