It began as a normal day. Me and Savra were out in fields growing some rice. Lily was getting an arithmetic lesson from Sai while Julia and Kani began to work on lunch. That is until the clouds darkened suddenly and lightning struck in the village. I had a bad feeling so I grabbed my club. I told everyone to stay back but Sai insisted to come along while Savra swore to defend the home. As I was leaving I felt something around my waist which I quickly identified as a hug from Lily. "Come back safe ok Dad?!" Had it really been 4 years since I saved her. She's grown so much. She's made me so proud. And she sees us monsters like family. I returned her hug with a head pat and left with Sai. He went on to cast a disguise spell on himself while I put up my hood. To the unknown on looker we were just a man and his friend walking down to market. When we arrived in the village my heart stopped as I saw the hero in the town square. " I know she is here and I must find her. A pigman defends her and will pay with his life for taking her!" He was serious. I thought he would've brushed off the missing child. Chalk it up to a monster wanting a meal. But he somehow knew she wasn't dead and he knew I was protecting her. He noticed me and Sai and came walking towards us. His party followed as people began running towards their homes. I heard locking doors as the hero stop before me. "Well you're late to the party. WHO ARE YOU!?" " I am Sai and this is Chris and we are simply farmers who live atop the mountain. We came to purchase seed when we found you great hero" he bowed quickly as I followed suit. The hero snarled before pivoting towards the party behind him "maybe I was wrong I could have sworn that I tracked her well" the wizard spoke "it's ok we will find her" "and make sure she doesn't spill her trap" said the barbarian. The four grinned as they went back to the square. "Be thankful you've been spared but know I will be back" the hero proclaimed before leaving. I passed out when he left.
