Chapter 4

Our final 2 house mates came like a whirlwind. I decided that while our farm was doing fabulously we needed more variety so I rented a boat to go fishing. As I prepared to leave the pier I saw men chaining up a woman with pink hair and a fish like tail. I sprung into action and snapped the chain the woman, in tears (of joy I hoped), jumped in the water and swam away. I sailed off before someone tried to pull down my hood. After catching a few fish I was about to head ashore near my house (father or not I wasn't above stealing) when I heard a voice greet me " thank you for your grace Lord Swine". " L-Lord Swine?" " yes you saved me so now by siren code I pledge my life to you." I was taken aback but I also knew she'd be in danger just staying in the ocean. "Can you create legs?" "Yes but I must sleep in water" "there's a tub at my home where you may stay" and so she swam and we arrived home. The next day a knock on the door awakened me and I came down to see a lizard man at my door "sir, I have been cast out of my home in the woods near your farm. Please allow me to stay. I can be a farm hand!" And so our roles were established. I was in charge of crops while σαύρα (Savra) was in charge of the animals. Julia tended to the house while Sai educated Lily. Kani went out once a week to get fish. We had our disguises and everything felt perfect.

Till the Hero came to our town.
