chapter 26

Marcel's POV: I follow this Aya woman to a limo.

We get in and my phone buzzes guess who Elijah I ignore then it goes off again it's Josh telling me we need more rings Damm it.

"I don't mean to pry. But my friends and I could help with your daylight ring situation, as well." Aya says with a slight smile.

"Okay. Now you have my attention even more" I reply                                                            
   "Marcel Gerard, you were turned by an Original, yet you made yourself in your own image. You built a vampire community from ash, and this city thrived under your rule. Let us help you return New Orleans to what it should be, with you as its king." she says.

"A great sales pitch, really. Just one thing-- who's "us?" I ask.

"The oldest society of vampires this world has ever known. We are called The Strix" she replies.

"Right so in other words your rich ass country club vampires who think they're better than everyone else. You know  I wish I could say I'm surprised,  but I expected that from Elijah's sire line" I say unphased.

"I could see where you would get that impression," she says with a chuckle.

                (after a very quiet car ride later)

I look out the window to see a very large and very old mansion.

"Welcome to the strix Marcel Gerard once we go inside, I will inform our leader you're here and after you may see Faith" she says with a smile.

We get out of the limo and walk into the mansion. Aya tells me to wait in what I believe is a living room. A bit later she returns with a man who I'm guessing is the leader.

"Marcel Gerard, this is Tristan De Martel our leader and Faith's uncle. She says with a smile.

" Ahhh the one and only Marcel Gerard, king of New Orleans, it's a pleasure to finally meet you" he says, holding out a hand.

"Cut the crap and formalities I want to see Faith" I say in my usual tone (you know the one).

"And you will matter a fact Aya will go and get her for me". He replies.

"Of course," Aya says before leaving.

  "In the meanwhile, how about we talk business" he asks politely.

"I suppose" I reply.

  (about 30 minutes later Aya returns with Faith)

Aya walks back in with a baby, and I just stare at the child. It really is her it's Faith those eyes I know those eyes anywhere. 

"Would you like to hold her Mr. Gerard" Aya asks me with a smile.

"Yeah, absolutely I would" I say tearing up a bit taking her.

"Hey Faith, hey princess you have no idea how much I have missed you" I say and she's just smiling at me like she remembers me.

Just then, Elijah appears in the doorway.

"Quite the prestigious organization! Responsible for countless wars, numerous plagues, assassinations... trust me Marcellus you don't want to join this'' Elijah says gaining everyone's attention.

We all  freeze at the sound of his voice, and at first, we all keep our backs to him so he can't see how displeased we are by his presence.

"You have to break rules if you want to build a new world. Hello, Elijah. It's been a while" she says, turning to him.

Elijah instantly vamp-speeds toward Aya and holds her as though he's dipping her in a formal dance before shoving his fist into her chest and grabbing her heart.

"UGH!" Aya says in pain.

"Let her go, Elijah. No need for this to become more vulgar than it has "Tristan says kind of annoyed.

Elijah, still clutching Aya's heart, turns to see Tristan, who looks amused by him.

"Tristan what an unpleasant pleasure" Elijah says unenthused.

"Marcellus my niece please" he says walking over to me.

"No" Faith says, putting her head on my shoulder snuggling into my neck.

I'm shocked because she's talking something her sister isn't one point to her (if you haven't seen the Mikaelson episode in legacies then you won't understand the point system)

(Mr. Mikaelson and I require the room. Please leave us. Elijah, your sire line-- your life-- is at stake. You want to hear what I have to say "Tristan says.

Yay finally after 6 months my hectic life is over and we get big brother Marcel.
