Chapter 7

*Two months later*

Lucien's POV: it's a few days before Christmas. And I am very excited because it's our first Christmas together as a family. I dropped Faith off with Aya and Tristan so I could do some last-minute shopping for her. I go to the mall and go to a couple of toy stores and as I'm walking by a jewelry place I catch something out of the corner of my eye. it's a silver locket with Engraving that. says to my little girl, love dad. That's perfect so I ask someone to take it out for me. "So how old is she" The guy asked me. "She's 7 months old actually" I say looking at him. The guy just smiles. "So how much for the necklace" I ask looking down at the necklace and back to him. "Five-thousand" The guy says looking at me. "I'll take it and that box over there" I say handing him my credit card. Got it. The guy says in amazement at how much I was spending on a 7 month old.

*Four days later Christmas Eve*

Still Lucien's POV: it's finally Christmas Tristan,Aya and Aurora coming over to spend the night so they can see Faith open up her presents in the morning. They finally get here and of course Aurora and Aya go to find Faith who's in her room playing.about an hour later the food is done and I see Aurora walking down the stairs with Faith in her arms and a smile,Aya follows behind . "Finally the food is done" Tristan says, pouring a glass of wine. "Tristan shut it,not only has Lucien made dinner but he is also raising a perfect little princess" Aya says looking at him. "It's true Tristan" Aurora agreed with her. "Well thank you girls for that"        I say smiling,as Tristan grunts mocking me. We're all done with dinner so we all go to the living room and watch a movie. After the movie Aurora asks if she can put Faith to bed and of course I say yes.Tristan and Aya both go to bed also so it's just Aurora and I. I go check on Aurora and Faith only to hear Aurora telling her a story. "Once upon a time,there was a majestic king who lived alone in a beautiful castle.the king did not foresee having a child but he lived in a magical land where anything was possible.in time he was blessed with a beautiful baby girl,for whom he wished only peace and love. But still the king has demons from his past that pursued him. There was a ruthless beast that took many things from the king.of the name Mikael he followed the king and the other in hopes to kill them all. But one day there was peace among the fallen kingdom for everyone was saved. And the king had a plan to kill all of the beasts and protect his little princess for she is the only thing that he needs" Aurora says, finishing her story as she's lying a sleeping Faith in her crib. She sees me leaning on the door frame and smile's. "You would be a wonderful mother Aurora" I say walking to her. "I would love to be a mother one day" she says looking at me. "Lucien,you make it look so easy how,how do you do it" She says still looking at me. "I really don't know Aurora,she just makes it so easy to take care of" I say looking back at her. "You're really lucky Lucien just know that" She says walking out of the room. "Wait,Aurora" I say stopping her. "What if you adopt Faith as her mother and we raise her together,Just take time to think about it" I say letting her go.
