Finney blake, a loner boy who was kidnapped in december and was the only one of the 6 boys the grabber kidnapped to escape him , felt so much survivor guilt about it.
Finneys pov
I just woke up, the feeling of being free from the grabber was so good but i rembered the other boys who got kidnapped and i wanted to cry about it....
but then, sudenlly, a blinding light flashed infront of me and i saw..my mother?! "Mom!? Youre alive?! I-i thought you died!" I said to her but she looked at me and smiled at me."i cannot tell you anything about how i can talk to you right now but if you want to save those boys-" my mom said. "Yes i do! Please mom!" I pleaded , wanting to save my friends. "Okay then my son, take this necklace and you can travel back in time but be careful." My mother said giving me a majestic necklace . I took the necklace and while crying i hugged her.
Once i wore the necklace she dissapeared and i woke up in my room again . I looked at my clock and realised it was january 2th 2023(i know it originally happened in 1978 or smth but its an au🫡) realizing that i can save everyone if im quick enough.
I got up and went to brush my teeth and wear my clothes but as i looked in the bathroom mirror while taking of my shirt , i looked at the disgusting marks the grabber gave me and i felt a tear coming down my cheek but after some time i finally regained myself and stopped crying deciding on what to wear. I looked in my wardrobe for something that would be in one of the ghostboys style so i can sttract them more. I remebered that griffin,the first one to be kidnapped would be kidnapped in the middle of february aka in almost a month. I tried to think of what griffin would like but i couldnt think of anything so i just wore something comfortable.

When i got ready i went down to make breakfast for gwen. I made her her favourite thing for breakfast, pancakes with blueberries and strawberries and syrup. I went to her room, quietly so i didnt wake up my father and opened her door , waking her up. "Gwenny, wake up..breakfast is ready" gwen , hearing my voice got up and hugged me. It was weird since she usually doesnt randomly hug me like that and after what had happened with the grabber it was very for me to even hug someone but it felt very warm and nice so i hugged her back, smiling at her. When she let go of me i walked out of the door to let her change.
After a few minutes gwen got ready and came down the stairs . I looked at her, she looked very cute. (Its platonic i swear i dont ship gwen x finney thats gross😭) i think that cardigan shes wearing is inspired by taylor swift. Shes a pretty big swiftie.

Once gwen saw the pancakes i made her eyes sparkled and was super exited. She sat down on a chair and i served her pancakes. She started eating but after awhile she looked at me. "Arent you going to eat finn?" She asked. "No im not hungry dont worry" i said smilling. I feel bad for lying to gwen but i cant eat since im so fat..
Timeskip to when finney got to his school
Finney saw griffin,the person he was looking for, crying on the floor alone. He saw him crying and quickly went there to comfort him."hey are you okay?" Finney asks the boy but the boy keeps crying so finney sits next to him and gives him a hug. They were hugging for awhile and after some time the boy finally stopped crying and looked at finney, his eyes showing that he was really hurt."w-who are you" griffin asks, his voice soft. "Im finney but you can call me finn, youre griffin right? You look very cool but why where you crying?"finney asks. Griffin went silent for a moment "well people were bullying me about my dead father.." "oh.. im so sorry , theyre jerks ... hey, isnt your first class mr.jhonsons math class? We can sit together if you want" griffins eyes lit up"yes! I would love that!"
Finney and griffin walked to class and talked about many stuff. They got to know eachother. Finney realised that griffin really liked to talk but he didnt mind since he loves listening to people.
